Altrove was another restaurant that we ate at to get a break from all the Filipino food that we had been eating. I wish they were open for lunch too, but this location is only open for dinner. It looks like Altrove Express, which is around the corner, may be open earlier, probably for lunch too but we had not ventured there for lunch. I enjoyed that it was a shoeless environment from the start. Their bathroom was broken on the day of our arrival but they were apologetic and accommodating in walking us to a clean bathroom at Atmosphere, apparently a bar owned by the same owner. I had no complaints as the bathroom there was clean and the waiter waited for me to return and walk me back a few buildings down back to the restaurant. We were happy with the salad and their margarita pizza that we ordered was enough for 2 people. We don't eat a lot portion wise, in general, but their portion size was perfect for us. We sat towards the back on their Thai style pillow chairs which was a nice touch to the restaurant and enjoyed the window seating minus the usual mosquitos throughout Palawan. Our servers were friendly and helpful. I found the restaurant to be very clean, as well. Their house wine was a nice compliment to our meal. I would definitely come back for their pizza. It was a nice touch as we were visiting from the US and missed having a variety of options to choose from. read more
