We made the mistake of trusting a Forex Manager with our money. He took it all! It's been a year and the FBI still hasn't responded to us after our report, and lots of others who lost hundreds of thousands to this man. I watched the market do so well, sure was frustrating! I was not going to deal with that again - so I began looking for a way to learn how to trade the Forex Market myself. I typed in Forex Schools on Google and Facebook and then began seeing ads from them. As soon as I learned about Day Trade Smart - I drove several hours to their office in Lehi, Utah to see what they offer. It was the day my little boy Trevor was born (all three pounds of him). They have this amazing computer program - to predict what the market is doing, and it's so good several of their beginner students are winning 80% of their trades. I could see by their body language that they were genuinely wanting to be helpful to me. It was a great conversation. I signed up for their $100 dollar trial to see if I could learn it. After a few weeks, I was trading at 70%. I then signed up for their Platinum Coaching and got 19 hours of one on one coaching with one of the best traders in the world. Troy Sagers wins 98% of his trades and most professional traders are winning 55%-60% of the time. I've attended classes from six of their coaches and I can say they are ALL Awesome at Forex Trading. You really have to see this yourself. I had no idea this was even possible. While 95% are losing money at Forex Trading, the coaches at Day Trade Smart are geniuses at teaching everyday people to become successful at Trading Forex. I thought it would take me years to learn this - and I started to predict the market after a couple months of webinars and coaching. They are really good at this! I would practice trading about 10 hours a week after my morning demo/live trades. I started to do well at about 5,000 trades. Now that I have over 10,000 trades - I win over 90% of the time, and I am still in my first year of learning this. My wife Joni trades with me every morning, she is learning this too. This company uses unregulated brokers that are not following United States Regulations. As a…read morebeginning student that knew nothing about forex trading, I went in thinking they were using the best tools and best education. The truth is, they weren't. They were using an unregulated off shore broker that ended up stealing 10's of thousands of my dollars of their students deposited money. They have you sign a paper that says that they didn't coerce you to use one broker or another, but when you are as new as I was in forex trading, I didn't know the proper way to verify I was with a good broker. They are an education and investment company. I expected them to teach me how to look for a good broker, but they didn't. While I was their student they were using Capital City Markets, which at that time was on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Red List. Then after they started having problems with Capital City Markets, they moved to another company on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Red List name FinPro. Then FinPro sold to a company named Coinexx who they are currently using. Coinexx is unregulated and off shore as well. They are not on the CFTC Red List yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were soon. If you don't believe me, ask Day Trade Smart if they have used Capital City Markets and what happened, ask if they used FinPro. Then go to https://www.smartcheck.gov/redlist and you will see these brokers on the list! Day Trade Smart sufficiently covered themselves to ward off liability by having me sign the waiver saying they didn't coerce me to use a broker, but I still didn't know any better as a new student. I had no education to know one way or the other what was good or what was bad. My COD as the company calls them (or salesman) lied to me by telling me he had a trade that worked if all the other trades failed. I saw the trade and believed him. Later I found out the indicators for the trade repainted, meaning they would change after the original indication was made. Their other indicators are also unreliable. You can try it for yourself if you would like, but don't say I didn't warn you. They are BAD BAD BAD!! Please stay away.

I sent my son a couple years back in 2017. We have high expectations for him, and wanted to bump…read morehim up from a B-B+ to an A in mathematics. Mathnasium did not help with that. All of the worksheets he was given were way too easy for him, and never actually got to his class level until half way through the school year. We found that it was literally a waste of one hour a day and $300 per month. We decided to give Mathnasium another chance by going after them on what my son was doing in class. However, if we are going to pay $300 a month(Which by the way is half of monthly college tuition), then we should not have to be after the instructors to make my son another chance. We had had enough, and after quitting, my son got his first A in mathematics, and actually seems to enjoy math now, which I find quite unusual. The program promises to make your children enjoy math, but my son was always agitated whenever we told him it was time to go to Mathnasium. All of the good reviews I am seeing are literally failing students going up from a F to a C+ or B average. So moral of the story is, if your child is so bad at math that he or she is literally failing it, then send them here. If not, then don't waste your money here.

The instructors were awesome, and certainly did the best they could to teach you to code in a short amount of time. However, the bottom-line is that Dev Mountain is a double-edged sword. Is it a waste of time? Yes and No. If you can afford to pay $10,000 and take the Immersive course - I would recommend that you do so. They will teach you the front and back end side of development, and will provide some type of job placement. However, if you cannot afford the Immersive course, or cannot simply be in class all day - DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE AFTER HOURS CLASS! It is a complete waste of money and time. Some people may argue otherwise, as people certainly have found jobs from the After Hours class. However, there are a number of things to be aware of when it comes to this course. 1. Dev Mountain will not acknowledge or support their after-hours students. Once you "graduate" from the after-hours program you will not receive ANY support or job placement from Dev Mountain. If someone contacts Dev Mountain to ask about you, they will not say you know what you're doing because you simply haven't had enough hours in development to receive their endorsement. You get as much credit from them as if you never took the course in the first place. 2. You learn nothing about the back-end. All you learn is simple front-end development in HTML, CSS, some jQuery, and AngularJS. With the Immersive you learn both front and back end - an important thing when looking for a developer job. 3. The most important thing that almost all jobs I was looking for to get in as an entry-level developer is a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. This is almost the main thing all people looking for Junior Developers are looking for. If you truly want to get into coding - go this route and avoid a coding boot camp. Now, DevMountain will tell you that they offer an advanced after-hours course to teach the back end which is true. But ask them how many people actually sign up for it. They've had to cancel it twice as no one has any interest in doing so after they take the regular after-hours course and find out that they've just wasted $5,000. They claim that over 90% of their students find jobs, but these figures are for the people who took the Immersive class. If they kept stats of how many after-hours graduates find jobs (which I'm sure they don't because they simply don't care about these students after they have their money) I would think that the placement figures would be around 1%-5%. Which means almost 95% of after-hours students just wasted $5,000. In the end, I would like to see Dev Mountain just get rid of the after-hours course because it's just a rip off. If you are going to go to Dev Mountain - take the Immersive course, or don't go at all. I can't speak for everyone, but I certainly don't have $5,000 to waste. I could have taken it out and burned it and I would have ended up with the same results. Dev Mountain is supposedly run by ethical LDS people. If this is the case, I would hope that one day they would do the right thing and get rid of the after hours course and just offer the Immersive one. If you can't afford $10,000, then find a better way to spend your money.

I did the Part-time cohort in Provo, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I'm a designer at a…read moresoftware company, with no prior development experience. I wanted to understand how my designs would be built and be able to communicate with the development teams I worked with. After a few weeks of DevMoutain I was able to more effectively communicate with the development teams and better understand what could and couldn't be feasibly built. My designs got better and I gained confidence in myself as we built our individual projects each week in class. DevMountain gets you coding from week 1 in front end and backend technologies, so you understand how web applications work and have experience doing it all. They give you the tools to decide which area of development you're good at and enjoy, so you can make a career decision and pursue it. It was awesome. Every night we wrote code with teachers and mentors to help us when we got stuck, giving you context that online tutorials can't match. I had a great experience and made friendships and connections that benefit me now and will in the future. Can't recommend these guys enough.
