Her skill and knowledge are above reproach and delivered in a hugely caring, empathetic, professional manner. She delivered my treatments with a manner that exuded precise attention to detail, acute care and attention were granted to listening to me and my own personal concerns, and she worked with me to develop a treatment plan that was individualized, comprehensive, and balanced. The pedicure room is equipped with massage chairs and jet foot tubs. Although the pedicures are good, I have had better ones at places that do not have the bells and whistles for equipment. With that said, the staff is friendly and is makes you feel comfortable. The interior is nicely designed. Fresh, contemporary and inviting.

My spa that i was very particle to had shut down recently and the only other spa that sells the skin care i use ( environ) was this spa. I had run out of my face wash 2 months ago and called Janet and janes to see if they had it in stock, they didn't. so the receptionist said to leave my name and number and Janet would call me back and make an order. I had called every week and Janet never called me back nor was there an order made my face wash was STILL sold out. how do you run a business if you don't make stock orders or call customers back who need product? If there is only one person in charge of stock orders would you not replenish it? My old spa would have sold out products to me within three days, and lucky for me i found someone in red deer who sells environ as of today and again will the evnviron product to me within three days of ordering. So for this reason and this reason only i will never go to janet and janes media spa for any of my needs which is a real shame. before my last spa shut down i got everything done there, from my waxes, facials any media spa needs my jane iredale cosmetics laser hair removal etc. i am more than happy to drive to red deer than give that place any time of day. thank you Janet and janes, i'll go elsewhere.

Additionally, they appear passionate in educating their team and patients about skin care regime, treatment approaches, medical skin concerns, and medication. They would only suggest or approve of treatments involving medication, laser, fillers, and such only if it is necessary for that patient. I was never pressured or "sold" on something. I also appreciate their updates on Facebook in regards to team spirit, products, and treatment results. I am grateful of having to be introduced to Dr. Taher and Kailey (Medical laser technician) by his colleage since when he was practicing as a provisional dermatologist several years back. Dr. Taher has such great bed side manner and patience with injection, electrodissectation, and biopsy. I am also suprised that he did no choose a career in pediatrics with his gentle mannerisms, enthusiasm, and great interpersonal skills. Treatments I have received and were found effective for myself were, but not limited to: Isolaz (moderate to severe acne), clear and brilliant (skin texture, hyperkeratosis, some lines), glycolic/afa peels, pulse dye laser for stretch marks on shoulders, and products. I have also seen Mckaela for peels, waxing, and isolaz. The zo Skin health line particularily the radical night repair 1% retinol and c 10% bright serum has I believe saved my skin from cystic acne and significantly prevented/reduced scarring in addition to isolaz. I believe proper skin care is an investment in which my skin has thanked me later. My additional favorite products are but not limited to: Zo daily defense lotion, zo renewal creme, eye hydra firm, zo 10% sulfur mask, vivier medicated cleanser, revision antiaging matte moisturizer, anacapse pill for hair loss, and UNIVERSE SKIN CARE. As I see it as challenging to find an antiaging night serum that is light in texture not causing breaking or further mila, UNIVERSE SKIN CARE is such an investment. I like that the serum is tailored to my skin needs that is combination of retinol, aloe vera, and zinc sulphate. I am also currently trying out the 14% glycolic with b (3 or 5) to prevent peeling as a take home weekly peel. As I see on reviews, images, and posts on fb, Dr Taher and his nurses seem quite skilled with lasers and injections; like their motto "Look good. Not done.". In the future when I am ready to invest in other treatment approaches, I will be visiting Dr. Taher and his nurses. Thank you.

They said I complained I was there for only 20 minutes.. I know I was there for over an hour, as per my Parking receipt for street parking. Willing to show it to them, I kept it... Its nice I'm getting a refund.. though the SNARKY ATTITUDE is never a good sign. I'm giving these people a 3/5 stars.. because( at 4 I'd have to be a fan, and I'm not) and I no longer have to deal with them and I'm getting a refund for my friend.. I'll take her out for dinner.. AND Men wont like this service.. too much hullabaloo for nothing.
