I turned down 4 other offers, with just as many builders, waiting for Tri Pointe. Not only have interest rates gone up from 2.75% to over 3%, the homes have now increased by $30k+. My biggest pet peeve with this company is that in the 7 months that I have been WAITING, NOT ONE New Home Specialist has reached out to inform me of any delays (which would have made me a little more understanding about the wait time). The only time I have received any kind of response, was after MY REALTOR AND I called them SEVERAL TIMES. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And now, they are not releasing any new phases for ANY of their homes for the next 30-60 days. Which now means I have to wait even longer! I understand that we are in a pandemic, but we were in a pandemic when I was pre-approved and was told of only (an initial) 60/90 day timeframe, that is now turning into almost a year (of being on a priority list). If this is how they handle potential buyers, I can only image how they treat the homeowners.

This, of course, is on top of almost all of the cabinets and damaged or not functioning correctly, one window that needs replacement and we finally had our garage doors installed 2 days ago but are not painted yet. For our solar, it took them 6 month to figure out what is wrong with our paper work. Nobody knows what's going on and they keep trying to blame on somebody else. I was promised to get compensated but the representative who was responsible for my case never picked up my phone call and kept hanging up on me when I called him. The home warranty is good for a year. We submitted some tickets to try to get some stuff fixed. One of the problem we have is there are nails showing all over the edge of the carpet and we have two little ones running in the house keep getting poked by those nails. Those nails have already scratched my toe and my toe was bleeding from it. This is a huge safety hazard. The guy who came to try to fix those nails told my husband no one really walk on the edge of the walkway and maybe the kids will grow older soon. He only fix the stairs and then he left without fixing any nails that are upstairs. Great he doesn't have to worry about kids hurting themselves from the bad work they did. I literally do not have the time and energy to fight with those people. It's your job to ensure the home you build is up to standard and at least not hurting people. Plus, there is no customer service when it comes to this company. Will never ever buy another house from Woodside.
