If you're…read morean American visiting, don't expect the enormous field of play you see in a typical US microbrewery. These brews absolutely push the boundaries of what one would consider traditional in Germany, and that feels just right for the area. The beers were well done and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food looked great though we were just there for drinks. We had a lovely time talking to the sales clerk in the brewery store downstairs (stop there for shirts, glassware, etc) about his eclectic beer can collection from all over the world. Turns out, beer people are beer people the whole world 'round. Always a delight to make new friends! Try out this little spot for something that's both different and quintessentially German. Prost!

Great place, wonderful cozy atmosphere... Their gimmick is giving you control over a small bar…read morewhere you can mix the cocktails on your own. The only complaint is that the cocktails choice (for the cocktails you can mix yourself) is really not that great. You can't mix good stuff like long island or zombie.. or even mai-tai, because they claim that the ingredients are too expansive for those. But i will definitely come again for the couches. And the service. And the food. And the music! :) :) :)
