Fantastic location. Huge heurigen but spread over lots of little rooms & balconies. There's something in every nook & cranny. Large food portions. Tasty local food. Waitresses were ok. We sat on the upstairs terrace but unfortunately were plagued by Mosquitos so moved inside. read more

I had family visiting from the States and was told to take the train to Gumpoldskirchen by an Austrian who had never been there himself. I googled a few places and made reservations here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The area was amazing and very pretty, the Altes Zachhaus garden was nice and the Grüner Veltliner crisp and refreshing. The biggest surprise was the food, actually. Not just the usual schnitzel. I would have given it 5 stars, but the service wasn't the best. Though there were at least 5 other dogs there so mine got a chance to play. I'll be back for sure. read more
