The same store clerk has been there and both times he's been helpful and made us feel very welcome. They have a kids section right by the front and they don't put the comics into plastic sleeves, so it's easy to check that the content is appropriate for your child. They also have a kids section in the vintage comic section at the back of the store, and these are great since they're 1-3 dollars.

The owners help with difficult to order items. The shop hosts many geek community events like card night and games. They take part in the annual comic shop crossover which promotes local geek culture. The owners are also part of the organizing committee that runs Forest City Comicon which is a wonderful and welcome edition to the London festival and convention scene. The store is very well laid out and organized. They also take part in a loyalty program called Vicinity which many other shops also take part in so less rewards cards in your wallet. Centrally located and easily accessible by public transport (multiple routes). A great spot to buy all things nerdy and geeky!

The board game section is much more focused (though the staff, aside from maybe 3 including owners in that number, still seem to know little or offer little assistance in this area) I'n okay with that I do my due diligence usually before heading in but it would be nice if I find that rare item I've never heard of for them to at least fake and interest and possibly look it up! Still the selection and fact that they carry some of the heavier things Uber doesn't usually will keep me popping in to see what's new. Alas, the MtG's will always rule this shop and I'm okay with that too... but I still hold out hope and at least no rude 'there's the door' innuendos anymore... in fact I haven't seen that employee in my time back coming in... odd... Writing a review doesn't do this store justice. You need to go check it out for yourself. Never had a bad experience there. They are not snobby or too good to chat you up about the books your into. Very down to earth cool guys. I drive 50 min to the shop even though there are a dozen shops closer to my house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

This one was well organized and had areas separated by merch type like shirts, figurines, plushies, graphic novels, and comics. Within each category, things were usually grouped by "brands" (characters from the same anime, comic, etc). When I say well organized, all the plushies were sitting up, the figures were lined up all facing the right way...it was really impressive! There was one Gojo Satoru figure that I was really keen on. It came in a pretty decent sized box that was a little smaller than a Funko. The figure in it was actually teeny tiny though! It was $28 for something that could have possibly come out of a gacha lol. Expensive!

Large selection of comic books but also a great selection of collectables, toys and funko pops! The store also displays funko pops that have been VAULTED and explains what vaulted pops are. Overall, a great experience!
