The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend getting a reservation, if you go for dinner. We went for lunch and it is the same menu as dinner. I ordered a local Dunkel beer and the currywurst sausage plate with spicy fruit sauce and a side salad. It was probably the best currywurst I have ever tasted. Even the side salad was carefully assembled with a nice dressing. My husband ordered the breaded and stuffed chicken with spinach and it was also very good. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. They also have menus in English, which was very helpful. We would comeback again. Thank you.

The muesli was excellent. It was served with quark, milk, and dried and fresh fruit. I'd never tried quark before, but it sure does beat the traditional American yogurt! My hubby got the big breakfast. I had some of his bread with the jam and it was divine. Service was friendly and spoke English.

The service was very nice and efficient and the food we ordered was great: the penne with ham in a creamy sauce was copious and very fine and tasty, a nice touch being the fried rucola on top. My soon to be daughter in law had a vegetarian dish, a salad which she was very pleased with and my stepson had a typical northern german dish ( I think) a 'sauerfleisch', 3 big slices of meat in gelly which he found excellent. A place to recommend, and as we live not far we will definitely return there when we are back in this lovely harbour town next to the danish border.

First the waiter took his time giving us the menus asking us if we wanted anything to drink. He seemed disinterested and distracted. Then after quite a long wait and no apparent activity in the kitchen, a man appeared and did some pot banging. The waiter was talking to a very large woman at the bar and ignored us until the "chef" called him over. The food was served on ice cold plates without the usual plate warmer, so went very quickly from luke warm to cold. Adequate portions, but not good value for money. During the meal one other customer appeared and waited at the bar for a take-away and the big lady ate a plate of chips. It was a further indication the restaurant is hardly a hit locally. When asked if we had enjoyed our meal, we said the food was well enough, but stone cold and we recommended heating the plates in future. The waiter remonstrated that nobody had ever complained before, we were unjust and simply mistaken. We will not be returning even though it is only Indian restaurant in this area. We gave two stars because it was at least clean. The ambience was lacking as much as adequate heating.
