Visiting for business and was taken here for dinner by a couple of locals. Just a couple of minutes from my hotel by the river. We had different meals, I went for the mixed salad and had the kalbs schnitzel as a main. Great atmosphere down in the cellars and we had a great time. Service was first rate, wine was good and food was good. Simple, nothing pretentious but safe and tasty! I would definitely go back. read more

We were driving up the Mosel looking for a family-friendly dinner spot - and we found one here. Fantastic service, excellent food and the kids were invited to color one of their coloring templates to receive a special surprise. Great ambiance, various seating options both inside and out. They have street-side tables outside, an upstairs and downstairs space inside, as well as a quaint courtyard. Service was prompt, extremely courteous and everyone (party of 10) loved their meal. Portions were more than generous but because everything was so tasty, there were no leftovers. Highly recommended. read more

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten mal von unserer Oldtimerausfahrt dort Essen. Ich muss sagen das Ambiente ist erstklasisch, der Service perfekt, und die Küche exelent. Wir waren beim ersten mal mit ca 90 Personen Essen und nun mit ca 105 Personen. Es hat wirklich alles sehr gut geklappt und wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Wir können dieses Restaurant sehr Empfehlen. Sehr uriges Restaurant, gespickt mit vielen historischen Dingen aus dem Weinbau und der Gegend. Allein deshalb bereits einen Besuch wert. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich und hat uns allen insgesamt gut geschmeckt. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der "Grillteller alte Zunftscheune". Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemüht.
