The Gasthof has rooms to rent with all modern facilities, including a large adjustable flat screen TV, there is free wifi as well It is exceptionally clean and well run. A typical bavarian breakfast comes with the room making this a great bargain. The restaurant is worth taking a side trip for. Chef Robert's creations are delicious and the portion size is very generous. There are traditional Bavarian creations such as Sauerbraten with dumplings as well as my favorite, Pearl Chicken in a Calvados sauce with thin noodles.

The warm apple dessert was also very good. It was a 4/5 for me, but would be a 5/5 for those who have a preference for fried dough. In all the cases (drink, meal, and dessert), the presentation was well above average, so they get extra points there. When I walked in, I was seated immediately and the service was quite good despite there being language barrier (my German is not so good). It was a overall good experience and I would recommend this establishment.
