First off, the space is huge. There was enough room for three separate dance floors, plus a dedicated outdoor smoking area, and it never felt cramped. For this event, there were bars on both sides of the stage, which made grabbing a drink easy no matter where you were. Even better, the sightlines are great and you could see the stage clearly from pretty much anywhere in the room. It is standing room only, but the layout makes that work.
My one real issue was communication, especially during the meet and greet. Venue security and ticketing staff were giving conflicting instructions, which made things confusing. My German is not the strongest, so it took some extra effort to figure out where I needed to be. To be fair, everyone was polite and it seemed they were just following the instructions they were told, but better coordination between the venue staff and event planners would have made the experience smoother. On another note, be prepared to walk cause parking is non existent, I parked a good half a mile from the venue.
That said, none of that takes away from the fact that Wagenhallen is a great concert venue with tons of space, good flow, and excellent views. I would absolutely come back for another show. I know 112 has played here a couple of times and I missed it if/when they come back here I'm in there. *Does lil dance while singing U Already Know* lol
