Unsure what's happened with our small town store in Elm Grove. This store is not what it used to…read morebe. I have been going to this grocery location for over 37 years even back when it was Sentry Foods. Customer service? Unsure why customer service isn't a thing here sometimes. The store opens at 7 am. I checked out at 7:30 am with price and product questions with my shopping challenges. Weekly sales started but shelf prices aren't up yet! I wasn't sure if the ad was incorrect so I was hesitant to purchase some items, but still put them in the cart accompanied by the ad. When I got to the check out, I'm told "she's working on it, we just opened!" So I replied "well shelf prices should reflect current day!" Also, looked in 3 places for pita bread to be told there wasn't any! How does this happen? This has become a big business over the years but I guess I should not have presumed the store was ready for customers just because they're open! Glad there's other options out there with friendly customer service. Lastly, delivery trucks were blocking the parking lot to the east and had to turn around to exit the lot. Maybe it was just a bad day, but the attitude didn't feel customer-friendly at all.

I lived in Tosa for many years and absolutely love the Sendik's there -- everything is fresh, and the people who work there are super nice. After moving to Brookfield, I started going to the Elm Grove Sendik's, but it feels completely different. Every time I go there, people look at me strangely. Today, two cashiers totally ignored me while I was checking out. I asked if their lane was open, and they just looked at me and kept talking. Then one finally said, "Yes, I'm open," and called me over to scan my stuff -- with such an attitude! Products is good . Just not happy with customer services .
