My alternator stopped working on interstate 80 just outside of Ogallala and I found myself broke down on a Friday evening (4/16/2021) in an area where repair shops are closed on weekends. If I remember correctly the tow truck driver's name was Troy and he was the absolute nicest, honest and most resourceful person who came into my life at the right time. After my tow, Troy new of someone in the area who could replace my alternator. Fortunately, I was able to buy a new alternator from a parts store arriving 3 minutes before they closed. Someone recommended we try BG&S in North Platte, and they agreed to fix it, so we had it towed there. When James found out we were stranded far from home, he got us back on the road in a couple of days! We even have a warranty with the rebuilt transmission they installed that we can use in our home state. The price was very reasonable, and James explained to us in detail how and why our transmission failed, and gave us pointers on maintaining our "new" one. These guys really ARE good at what they do!
