My alternator stopped working on interstate 80 just outside of Ogallala and I found myself broke down on a Friday evening (4/16/2021) in an area where repair shops are closed on weekends. If I remember correctly the tow truck driver's name was Troy and he was the absolute nicest, honest and most resourceful person who came into my life at the right time. After my tow, Troy new of someone in the area who could replace my alternator. Fortunately, I was able to buy a new alternator from a parts store arriving 3 minutes before they closed. Our pickup suddenly quit working on I80 by Brule, NE on our way home from Colorado, on a Sunday afternoon. I called AAA, and they gave me an estimated arrival time. After waiting 3 hours and a no show, my husband called Kent's Towing. What a great guy! He said he would arrive in about 30 minutes, AND DID! He met us at our vehicle with cold bottles of water! A lifesaver after sitting in a hot pickup for 3 hours on a 96 degree day! When making the call to Kent, he recommended making a hotel reservation, as the hotels fill up quickly. Thank goodness we did, as there was a No Vacancy sign on the door when we checked in. The next day, they picked up the truck and dropped it off at a repair shop. What a God send these guys are. I'm a old man from Nevada . My truck died along I-80. They rescued me from along the highway,I needed a fuel pump replacement on a holiday and no one would do the work. The guys at Kent's offered to get the parts and help me out. They gave me a car of theirs to get to a hotel for the night. They had me rolling the next day at a very reasonable price and it was like dealing with long time friends. Best Tow Company I've ever dealt with. I had an accident on I-80 near Ogallala NE and Kent's responded for the tow. They loaned me a vehicle to get around while I dealt with the insurance company and some other things that came up. I had accidently let some personal items in the trunk of the Loaner Car. Dan took time to ensure that my belongings were carefully packaged and shipped them to my home in Kansas City MO. Cannot recommend Kent enough- he saved my family and I on the side of I80 after hitting a deer. After the insurance company wouldn't help us find a car Kent brought us a car to get to the next town. He made us feel safe and helped slow traffic while getting our car seat and infant situated in the vehicle. He even offered for us to keep it for the day (at no charge) if we wanted to drive around/get food while we were waiting for our car. We broke down on the north side of Big Mac yesterday with our boat in tow. After working with AAA for a couple of hours with no results we contacted Kent's Towing. Dan got things set up and rolling and soon a tow truck rolled up with a great guy who loaded our Jeep and put the boat in tow. We were home and safe with the boat home and the jeep at our shop. After waking up in a local hotel we realized are battery was dead due to leaving the kids DVD players running all night. Oops. We called our insurance companies roadside service they informed us nobody was answering their calls, except for Kent's. But it might be awhile but within the hour Kent showed up to jump our battery. When both local car rental agencies had no cars available, he drove us another hour and found us a car dealership that would rent us what we needed and then helped us unload our totaled Rav (no small task) and get back on the road for our cross-country road trip.
