Disgusting service. Our wedding party dealt with multiple problems at the Frisco location.On our wedding day my husband had the incorrect sized suit. I have talked with corporate SEVERAL times with no resolution. Even the store manager (Abby, who works at the Fort Worth location)"laughed" at my comment on Facebook about the struggles I dealt with a day before my wedding(photo documentation attached). How heartless is that? If their own store manager does that, what does this company stand for? Major lack of integrity and so sad that they put brides and grooms through this. read more

I keep trying to give this location chance after chance but to no avail. They have a heap of signs on the door but I don't know which one to believe. They have one that says to scan the code, enter information and wait for a associate to reach you in which I did and didn't receive a timely response. Then they have a sign up saying mask are required vaccinated or not vaccinated but when you peer in the window no customers inside were wearing masks. Oh and FYI the reason we had to peer in the window to begin with is because the door is locked. I am 3 months away from my wedding and a little frantic at this point that I can't handle my wedding business. read more

This place is horrible ! They got everything wrong for my daughters wedding . Father of the brides pants were 2 sizes 2 small. No shoes for FOB and for the groom!!! Half of the groomsmen pants were stained . Some shirts were dirty and some didn't arrive at all . This was a disaster . If you want a nice wedding . DO NOT GO here!! read more

I was recently a best man in a wedding, and we used Al's Formal Wear to rent our suits. The suits themselves are cheap quality. So cheap that one of the groomsmen and myself both ended up ripping our pants. When I returned all of the wedding party's suits the next day, I was told that it is normally $150 charge to replace each pairs of pants, but they could do it for $100. Originally, they had tried to charge me for both replacements, but was able to get them to look up the other groomsmen's information (which they should have done to begin with). Come home and check my bank account and see that they've taken out $162. Didn't call or email to explain this, just took out the money. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend, especially when a competitor is down the street for higher quality and better customer service. read more

The place is always crowded, with no place to sit. They need to have more space. The main lobby area smells like mildew & badly needs to be cleaned. Slow service combined with unsanitary and cluttered areas leaves a bad taste in the mouth. read more

It was New Year's Eve, and I was told I needed a tuxedo for work. ON NEW YEAR'S EVE! Knowing that it was highly improbable for me to get one, I sent some friends to find me a flashy vest instead. They arrived at this location and were shown the options available. After a video chat, I take a break and rush over to the location. I meet BLAS and ABBY. They are kind, warm, friendly and genuine. I wish I could give a -10. Me and my date went the day before prom to pick up his tux. The manager tells us "hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's not here!" They would not have it on prom day either. Not only did they take our money they ruined our day. DO NO GO HERE. They act like they can help and than boom nothing happens. read more

My fiancé and I walked in and we were not even greeted by the staff, we had to go out of our way and ask for help and again they seemed uninterested. OMG They are quick to take your money and not have your items. We ordered a tux 2 months in advance for our wedding and was told we would have it May 17 and of course it was not here. Absolutely terrible service, went in to get my Tuxedo for a buddy's wedding and the experience as a whole was terrible. The associate at the front desk was unhelpful and rude, like he'd rather be elsewhere. Once I got my tux it was too tight and didn't fit well at all, I couldn't raise my hands over my head or it would have ripped. I picked it up a day before the wedding so I had to make due with it. When I returned it I received a call the next day saying the pocket square was missing. I recall putting all pieces including the ridiculously cheap cufflinks that none of the groomsmen nor the groom even bothered to wear back along with all pieces of the suit. The associate informed me that the pocket square was missing and it was only a $5 replacement fee. So I decided this would be the easiest solution as the wedding was 4 hours away and i wasn't going back in search of a cheap piece of fabric. I checked my bank statement and saw the charge of $16 there for I assume the pocket square. Which could not have been more than a couple of dollars to replace. This whole establishment and experience was absolutely terrible. I would never recommend this place for anyone, save your money and time. read more

My tuxedo rental was a total disaster and the WORST customer "service" experience I have ever had with a retailer. Employee who did my measurements was very good and pleasant to work with; however after the tuxedo, shirt, etc. were delivered and ALL were the wrong size and/or style -- and I sought a full refund because I ultimately missed my wife's formal event -- she told the store manager I "did not allow her to take my measurements personally," which is, pardon the expression, a bald-faced lie. I told her what size coat, trousers and shirt (collar size) I wear, and she then used her tape measure to confirm them herself, agreeing with each one I had told her. The tuxedo which was first delivered was wrong in every possible way. I wear size 42 trousers; a size 47 was delivered. Pant legs were about 5" too long. Clearly someone else's pants were sent and the order was not checked before leaving Al's warehouse in Houston. Coat was the correct size but sleeves were about 1" too long (and were satisfactorily shortened later). Shirt was the wrong collar style and I could not button the collar button (I wear a 17 1/2 collar dress shirt. A size 18 was re-ordered for me.) Asst. mgr. (who did the original measurements) and another employee were very accommodating and apologetic for the mistakes. I returned the next day (the day of the event) as instructed, to find that the coat sleeves had been shortened satisfactorily. The coat, as it turned out, was the ONLY thing right about this rental. Size 43 (side adjustable) pants were delivered the second time, but they had not been hemmed at all. They were literally 10"-12" too long (I did not measure). When I pointed this out, the asst. mgr. (who did in-store alterations) said she was forbidden from cutting any excess length from any pair of pants, but would hem 3" from my correct length, leaving about 8" of excess fabric. This, she said, she would "fold up inside the pants legs" and I "would have to be careful not to rip out the hem when putting the pants on" or while wearing them at a 3-hour formal event. I then informed her that that was totally unacceptable and, after several minutes of argument, she took the pants back, cut off several inches of excess fabric and hemmed the pants to the correct length. All this hemming, re-hemming and arguing took almost two hours (one hour past the store's closing time). Once at home and while dressing for the formal, I noticed that there was no bow tie included in the 'accessory package' with the studs, socks, etc. As I do not own a bow tie myself, I ultimately missed my wife's event entirely. She did not speak to me for the next day and a half, regardless of my explaining what had happened. The next day I returned the tux, told the store manager, Dale Harper, of all the problems I had encountered, and requested a full refund of the $155 I had spent on this rental. He immediately informed me that he had no authority to make any sort of refund, but would have to take the matter up with his regional manager the next day. Three days later -- having heard nothing from either Mr. Harper or his regional manager -- I called the store, only to learn that the regional manager had not yet responded to Mr. Harper's email about my rental problems. He reiterated that he would call me as soon as he had spoken with his manager. Two days later -- one full week after the event -- I had still heard nothing from anyone with Al's Formal Wear. read more

Save yourself the headache and go to Mens Wearhouse, or at least stay away from the Hulen location. They have zero customer service skills that should have been my first clue. My son and I ordered the tux 3 weeks in advance of the event that would be on a Saturday. Thursday comes along and his grandfather drove 1 hour to pick up the tux. It was there but in the wrong color. They told us they would have the right color Friday between 3 and 6pm. I called first and they said they still had the grey tux instead if the black. Now I am frantic b/c how will we get the tux in time. The employee at the Hulen Location acted like it was no big deal " we can just get a tux from in the store" I wanted the tux we spent time picking out not something off the store rack. I was terribly disappointed and will never go back to Als at Hulen to do business, except to demand a refund. Other Als locations may be fine but stay away from Hulen unless you enjoy running around like a mad man at the last minute! read more

NEVER would I recommend this place to anyone. They messed up my suit twice and when I called to get it fixed for a 3rd time they told me they were unable to fix it. My jacket was about 3 sizes too big and same for everything else. The 2nd time when they said things were fixed, they weren't. Nothing was smaller. They gave me the exact size as they did before. The lady I talked to was extremely rude and no one was of any help at all. DON'T EVEN TRY!! Go to Men's Ware house. They were excellent!! read more
