Since this is a salon with old school character, everyone pretty much knows each other or they're familiar with other patrons, so you're going to hear jokes, debates and music. This place is full of conversation, so maybe it's hard for people to stay without saying a word. So they do women's and men's hair (curly or straight), my brother is also a masseuse, and he's one of the few people I've ever seen use a straight razor on people--truly old school. There's also plenty of food options around if you have to wait since New Roc City is right around the corner. On a Saturday afternoon you'll always see people making big food orders for delivery, so you can wait while eating, watching tv, or joining in some group conversation that's going on.

The last time I went was the final straw -- they touched up the front of my hair and cut a few strands from the back and made it look like they did something. When I got home, I immediately noticed that the back, the crown, was essentially untouched. I needed to get another haircut immediately from somewhere else to fix the mess they left my hair in. This has happened multiple times from multiple barbers in this shop. I refuse to continue paying for bad haircuts.
