We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. Our tables looked great, our food was wonderful, and their team was fabulous. We truly appreciate all they've done for us and could not recommend them more! I'd heard from a few members of my mother's club about Taste of Home. I haven't lived in the area for quite some time, so all I could do was trust their experience; and I was so glad I did. I explained the need to put our socially-distancing guests at ease with a range of outdoor, afternoon finger food that was individually-wrapped. Donna recommended an array of appetizer sandwiches and cookies that turned out to be real crowd pleasers! Eliminating the use for any utensils was certainly the way to go, and as if to underline that point, trays of non-wrapped cookies and cakes that people brought were hardly touched. My family is so pleased with the outcome, my area siblings are all looking into using Taste of Home for family dinners. We believe in keeping our purchasing as local as possible during this economic uncertainty, and Taste of Home has provided another great Hinsdale option for when cooking is better off done by someone else. We had 10 half containers and 4 large containers of food. I have one oven. We were scrambling to get the 4 different items we ordered to be ready at the same time then put another in the oven to be ready when that one container was done. Heating apparatus was not included and had to be purchased separately. Very stressful and hard to enjoy the party until all food was done. We assumed it would be easy to reheat - Not! The amount of food for 50 people was way too much on top of it and we could have gotten away with less than half of what we ordered. On a positive note it appeared people liked the food itself. When catering a party, it Is essential the company set up the food at the time the host wants and have it ready to be ready to served without having to reheat it. Even if we had a double oven it would have been difficult to reheat/cook all that food. They company knew we had only 50 people and should have alerted us that we were ordering way too much food.

We all had different teas, and again they were all very flavorful. The Christmas decor was just so perfect. They have several items for sale, such as jams and so forth. They also had a few Christmas tea pots for sale. One was so cute I could not resist and bought my daughter an extra Christmas gift. The owner/chef came out to talk to us for just a few minutes. She explained that this was their 24th year! Amazing. She also stated that she travels and often the recipes she makes for the tea house are inspired by these trips.
