Michael was very nice and initially responsive. I asked him to cut the trees down near our…read morelakeshore while the lake was still frozen so it would be easy to down and cut up the trees. He was very prompt in getting the initial work done. I was not there, so he missed a few trees on the property line. He also was not able to clean up all of the logs and debris, leaving it out on the ice, saying he would come back the next week to clean it up, so I went ahead and paid him in full, in cash. Big mistake. About 2 weeks later, he did come out to see which trees he missed and talk about what needed to be finished. However, despite numerous attempts to reach him and months passing by, he has not come back out and I now have a bunch of waterlogged debris and wood all along my shoreline. Extremely frustrating!

The tree removal itself was excellent, which makes what happened afterward even more frustrating. Despite taking my money for the stump grinding, the work has never been completed. I've made repeated attempts to contact them, but my calls have been completely ignored. At this point, it's clear they have no intention of honoring the agreement or even providing the courtesy of a response. Now I'm forced to pay someone else to finish a job I already paid this company to do. If you can't complete the work you were hired and paid to perform, you shouldn't be taking customers' money in the first place. I no longer want excuses--I want my $500 refunded so I can hire a company that actually follows through on its commitments. Unreliable & unprofessional!…read more Recommended by a friend who had used them before so I had high hopes. An employee came out in October and gave a decent quote for removal and stump grinding. Told them that timing wasn't critical as we were closing down the cottage for the season. Had some follow up communication to indicate that Miss Dig had been out and requested photos when the job was complete. Got confirmation that this would be done. Fast forward to the following May and the job was never completed! I texted the employee I originally dealt with and got no response. A few days later I called the main number and spoke to the owner (Myles). I explained the situation and he indicated that he had issues with the employee and seemed sincerely concerned that the job hadn't been scheduled or completed. He offered to come out that afternoon or the next day to look at the job to reassess. He never showed up and won't answer or return follow-up calls. Although I wouldn't be happy, I could at least respect them if they decided to decline the job and let me know. I was ghosted instead! Contacted another local company and had the work completed within 36 hours at a slightly better price. Don't waste your time with Tree Timber Services- they may or may not actually do the job...
