Instead, we were in the middle of a gravel parking lot 3 feet between the various RVs. We dare open our windows as we could wave at our neighbors. We could hand them a cup of coffee we were so close. If we opened our windows, we could see the back end of the pick up truck or RV in front of us or our truck behind us. It was so disappointing. The dog walk was a long hike away and the only way you could see the river was to get out of your RV and walk over to the buildings and look down several feet hundreds of feet to the river. We will not stay here again.

The spaces are gravel, level and nicely wide. We had no problems with space, connectivity or peace and quiet. Even though the park is on the main route through town, the spaces are quiet, and nicely arranged. They have planted trees that will grow into wonderful shade for each space. There is also a big activity hall, a very clean laundry room and some great walking paths. Oh, and they honor Good Sam and Passport America discounts.

Deborah and Ron (the staff) are beyond belief in terms of rudeness, confrontational, unfriendly, lying about site availability and to top it off, made my wife cry and our entire stay miserable. We are about to dispute credit card charges for Fraud, misrepresentation and verbal abuse. We could continue to share more, but think you get the point. Apparently a bear(s) visited the campground all three Thursday nights we were there (and a few other nights, as well). The bear(s) was interested in the hummingbird feeders and trash bins, but Dave splashed Pine Sol around and that seemed to deter them. On the day we were to leave, we were on track to pull out between 10:00 and 10:30 AM, until I walked around to the street-side of the trailer to remove the chocks and discovered the tire had deflated so much, I could not remove either one. While we were inflating the tire, Dave showed up and started helping, unbidden. As it turned out, he ended up getting his jack, jacking up the trailer, removing the tire, placing it in the bed of the truck and telling us where to go to get the valve stem repaired. He said he'd check on the trailer periodically while we were gone to make sure no one was getting too close to the jack, etc. (He estimated it would be an hour; turned out to be more like 1.5 hours). No sooner had we returned and backed the truck up in front of the trailer, he was already out there to get the tire out of the bed of the truck and put it back on the trailer! When it was all said and done, my husband asked him what we owed him because we had way overstayed our check-out time and this sort of service certainly isn't in his job description, Dave refused anything. That was a lot of work, and we truly appreciate it.

We rented a room and upon arriving, our toilet was filthy so we requested a new and bigger room. Our new room was fine but it lacked essentials like toilet paper and had 1 towel for the two of us. My husband took a hot tub that night and when he looked at it the next day he immediately took another shower hoping he would not get sick. It was filthy. My step son arrived the next day and in the middle of the night they were awakened by the real renters . My son was given the wrong key. My nephew rented another cabin and they did not have a shower head which was never fixed for them. They had to take showers with gushing water. To top it off, the manager invited all of us to a party that was being held in the rec room. We all attended to find the manager so drunk she was staggering. Granted she was off shift but proceeded to help the late comers totally waisted. Not impressive. We will never stay there again and my advice for every one is to stay clear of that place.

The staff was fantastic -- everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The other campers were friendly as well, which created a great atmosphere. We also loved that it was close to town if we wanted to grab dinner or a quick bite to eat. The only negative we noticed were some small ticks that showed up on our last day there. We found a few on the picnic table, though we hadn't seen any before that. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay.
