If I could give this place negative stars, I certainly would. Missing items from my vehicle, and quite the hassle to get it out. Thanks to their poor service, bad miami attitudes, and non-operative card machine and their ATM only lets you take out $200 at a time and charges a large fee..... Also, according to the miami-dade county department of regulatory and economic resources, they have overcharged me for their services. My car was wrongfully towed from a visitors parking spot at my mothers house in Miami Gardens. I came to visit my mother after she had surgery and stayed the night. There were no signs anywhere that say visitors cannot stay overnight. Come Then morning I wake up at 6am to the news that my car was towed. I call and the first person I spoke to "Luis" was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked Luis why did my car get towed and his response was I didn't have a decal to park in visitors. So I called the associates and they confirmed that no decal is needed to park in visitors and I could've stayed the night without any issues. I call Alpine towing back and to informe them what I was told my the community association and Luis went on to tell me I can go f**k myself and that all I can do is dispute it. I asked to speak to a manager and Luis told me I didn't need to speak with anyone and I should use my brain and just dispute the tow or call the cops and he went on to hang up on me. I understand that two trucking companies deal with high stressful situations and irate customers but this is no way to speak to ANYONE let alone someone a paying customer. I was only trying to understand why my vehicle was towed and all I received was disrespectful comments being made and no answers. These people are crooks; parked in front of my elderly mother's house to help her up the stairs to her apartment in Hialeah. I left my car for less than FIVE minutes and it was still on. The tow truck driver went I side my vehicle, turned it off, and took off with my car. I tried to stop him as he was pulling out but he refused. We were parked in a public parking lot with no "no parking" or "tow away zone" signs. This company illegally towed our vehicle and stored it 15 miles away (10 miles is the legal limit). Then they tried to tell us only cash was accepted to release it (legally they have to accept 3 forms of payment). Only after we stated this did they tell us we could pay with a credit card. We spoke to the office manager as will as the office employee. We also called the sheriff who came out to the location to make a report and told us to definitely take this company to court. read more

I'm guessing I spoke to Louis as another persons yelp review sounds similar to my situation. I called and asked where they were located because Apple Maps showed 2 locations: 1 on 79th and 1 on 67th. When the dispatcher answered the phone and I began saying I'm on 79th he cut me off and said they were on 67th. I said oh and began explaining that they're listed under 2 locations and was cut off by the dispatcher saying "oh you're going to talk over me? Ok, I'll wait until you're done talking." I paused and said you don't have to be rude and he goes on saying I was talking over him and I was being rude. When I got to the office window I asked was he the one I spoke to over the phone and he replied yes. This company is a joke. They responded to a call where a lady wanted to tow cars from a public area, and knowing that they were towing from a county-owned property, did so. They then had to stand in the middle of the road while we called the cops, and they LITERALLY dropped the car in the middle of the road after they were told they werent allowed to do so. I gave these people one star because I had no choice. Similar story to many people in the reviews below. I guess they do this stuff for fun. 17528 S Dixie Highway is the location I'm referring to. My boyfriends car was towed from in front of his apartment that he's parked in for years. We get there at 8AM (scheduled opening time) and after multiple complaints and even a government issued complaint they finally showed up at 10 AM. RICKY WITH AN TATTOO THAT SAYS "ANGEL" ON HIS LEFT ARM. Comes complaining saying he is working for free because they employee did not call in sick. Again not our problem. We are the last people helped and stated the charge on the card was going to be put on hold because we are requesting a refund from this horrible place. Ricky then decided to come to me (not the owner of the car) and has no reason to have a conversations with me at all to let me know that this would have been easier if my boyfriend did no say he was going to put a hold on the card. When I get upset for him coming to me with no need he decided to start coming towards me and scream at me. His female employee had to come and separate him from getting closer. These people are a scam, inconsiderate and can not run a business for the life of them. If you have to deal with these people good luck. This was a voluntary towing due to engine difficulties, not a penalty towing. So when the driver arrived I was so happy but also hungry and tired and sad about my poor Toyota. The driver was a bit brusque but I think that is part of the tow driver persona. He did an excellent job and didn't damage my car at all. And it was kind of fun riding in the tow truck wheeeeee. I arrived at my mother in law's senior citizen apartment complex at approximately 10:41PM 07/14/2020. We passed by to take her a pair of glasses and to repair the sun roof in a used vehicle which we had recently purchased for her Because she is a woman on a fixed income whom is a disabled cancer survivor during the midst of this pandemic it is very hard for her to get things done on her own and because of her underlying condition we cannot send her to places for resolution to her issues. As well her significant other passed away one year ago to date. So it has been rough for her. With all that said we had not been parked more than possibly 15 min before the tow truck company Alpine Towing  TL 2656TI00022 (305)889-2800 or (305)633-9001 arrived with an operator by the name of Antonio whom parked in front of our vehicle and before he even had a chance to hook the car my spouse was telling him "this was our car to please not do this we are right here, we were just helping out his mother". He still regardless hooked the car although vehicle had been there under 30min. Then began to say that there were signs that said we couldn't park there. Not to mention also took his mask off during this process. Then he began to state if we had cash he could unhook the car (1st -action of extortion). When we advised him we had barely been there ten minutes he said not true because I drove by a few minutes ago and you were already here and when I drove back you were still here (2nd- act of predatory towing). I then advised him I was not going to give him money without a receipt and without speaking to a supervisor. He then lied to me and told me somebody called him (lie) remember he said he drove by, then when he saw I called the tow company he began to take pictures to CYA. After my phone calls and at this point deciding I was going to handle this matter in a more educated fashion by educating myself with my rights, I contacted the company to began asking for documentation that shows they had the right to tow my car and the names of the individuals I spoke with. I was then advised that everyone in the office goes by Alpine and also advised they didn't need to show documentation (last-action of corruption). Before you can be towed from a private lot in Miami, the tow truck operator is required to have a written directive from the owner or authorized representative of the property owner to tow your particular car. This means that the act of patrolling a lot looking for violations is illegal. So not only were my rights violated by towing from a private lot which had not made any phones calls to have my car towed, considering I was there for less than 15 minutes is just more proof of this company being corrupt. After several attempts to have him lower my car I was still forced to pay $50.50 when he picked my car up after my spouse announced the car was his. My first phone call to Alpine towing was exactly at 11:11pm 30mins. exactly after my arrival to my mother in law's house.  My concern more so is how many senior's that have not known what that sign says because in a predominately Spanish complex signs are English only, or have parked because they are disabled to get their packages upstairs or just simply someone whom is helping a senior up a stairs have been extorted to pay this $50.50 or worse been towed because they don't know their rights. It cost me $50.50 to get my car that night plus the distress of watching my husband upset, his ill mother upset. I already have to seen sadness during these epic times working in the health industry to think that during this time there are still people doing ill will and not baring a bit of compassion towards humanity. This company needs to be defaced. The reviews are eminent for their practice of illegal tows. Someone needs to do something about this. Also although yes my spouse was there the car is his, they did not ask for evidence of ownership, they released the car to me which I am not an owner on the vehicle and took my $50.50 from my credit card extortion much may I say. All they wanted that night was to take advantage of gaining $50.50, but I refuse to allow them that easily to do so because many out there may not have a voice to express the abuse of this company. This is the worst game yes money making game company ..Alpine Towing towed my car in less than 10minutes from CityPlace do not deal with any of these thief's they have a person collecting $30 from the $101 they steal to retrieve your car. This is information is from a resident at CityPlace. On the night of Christmas tree light up they had cars towed and placed at a nearby parking facility to be able to tow as many cars possible as Alpine Towing is a 20 minutes distance far from CityPlace. I was called a dirty b!!!! From an employee with a gold tooth!!!!! Of course after I made it loud & clear of the disgrace of company THEY ARE!!!!! If I could give it no stars I would. My car was towed from in front of my apartment building by Alpine Towing based in Miami. Be wary of this business. Don't ever use them for a tow and you may want a police escort if you need to pick up your car if it gets towed to their lot. The people working there are ignorant bullies. I paid cash and showed my license and insurance but this crazy, super aggressive man,wouldn't let me leave the lot for an hour because I couldn't find my registration. This after he took my money and license! I was trapped on this dark lot in a bad area with these two ignorant men. The other guy refused my request to use their phone (my phone died) so I could verify my documents and when I requested that he call the owner he said no because the owner was sleeping. then the other guy actually grabbed my arm and pushes me out of his office. I was shocked he actually put his hands on me. long story short I finally found my registration. Of course he didn't give me back my proper change. I just took the loss. once he opened the gate I hurried out of there. It was crazy. I am filing reports with various authorities but the tow companies in Miami have a history of corruption and now I've seen it for myself. If my phone hadn't died I would have recorded the whole incident and called the police. Alpine towing 3500 NW 67th Street.. beware. They are very shady. I called this morning at 5am to find out my car was towed. (Understood why but still a little frustrated) I couldn't pick it up right away because I needed to go to work. They told me I could pick it up later. Not a problem. When I called at 8pm they told me that the place was closed at 6pm and that they would open up at 8am tomorrow I would need to call and make an appointment. How does that make sense?!?! I don't need to call to make an appointment to pick up MY CAR. it is against the law to withhold a car if it was not impounded by the police....had my husband call and they told him not a problem to go an address to pick up the car and we were able to get the car. HOW IS THAT OKAY????? TO DENY ME MY CAR BUT THEN A MAN CALLS ANS ITS OKAY....THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, ATTITUDE AND QUITE FRANKLY DECORUM...that's why they work in that industry. If there were 0 stars is what I would rate them. I called BMW for roadside assistance and they assigned this company for the the tow. I was quoted an hour wait. An hour and a half later I'm notified that driver is on site however I am on the shoulder lane of expressway and it's very noticeable there are no vehicles there other than myself. I proceed to call dispatcher and advise that I got message that driver is on site but no one is here. She puts me on hold which seems an eternity only to come back and say driver was on site but BMW provided incorrect address. However while she has me on hold her driver Luis shows up and states it is illegal for him to pick up on the expressway and drives off. Doesn't even get out of the car just honks me over. When I mention to her that it's impossible her driver has incorrect address as he just showed up she insist it's not her driver. Right so I guess people are just driving around in Tow trucks with your logo to make you look bad. Makes me wonder if they get a trip pay for no shows. read more

This is probably the dirtiest tow company I've dealt with. They make their money off unethical business and tactics and will be reported. My girlfriend and I parked our car in a spot on 8th St. that did not have a business name on the sign as we were waiting for our pick up order. We were literally waiting for 7 minutes and shortly after the restaurant servers informs us that our car is being towed. I go outside after my girlfriend and I show up to a very disrespectful driver raising his voice at my girlfriend. He had just put the car up and she was asking him to please put it down as we were about to leave. The driver demanded $101 on the spot to let the car down. I asked the guy if he was giving kickbacks to one of the businesses to call him and he ADMITTED IT!! They wait close by until someone parks, and immediately get called to pick up the car. I saw a news report on these illegal tactics not too long ago. He was a complete jerk to both of us. In the end my girlfriend was very upset so I ended up giving the guy the money and immediately after, he picks up another car in the same spot.
