It It was a beautifully taught class that was peaceful and balanced. It incorporated breath with movement and encouraged a quiet mind. The teacher Ricarda was kind and gentle and a great instructor. My husband took me as a birthday present last year, and it was so good that we had to go back again and I felt compelled to shared why. Victoria Balentine is the owner of the farm and the yoga instructor, and I cannot rave about her enough. She used to be a yoga teacher in NYC and, in addition to goat yoga, she is currently practicing as a wellness healer licensed in acupuncture and other holistic healing medicines. For that reason, she comes from a place of true genuine care and has such a great vibe. She has such a calming presence and she makes sure that everyone was comfortable and had ample goat experience. The goat yoga class itself PHENOMENAL. The goats were incredibly playful and affectionate, and it was so relaxing to do yoga while surrounded by them. Having them around while practicing yoga truly brings out your inner child :) After the yoga class, I took a farm tour with Victoria and her husband, where I learned all about the baby yoga goats as well as their mothers! The goat mothers were so sweet I couldnt tell you if the babies or mothers were cuter! We also met her adorable chickens and saw them laying eggs! She showed us how she milks the goats and makes a variety of amazing cheeses. She also grows all her own food and eats completely seasonally. I was so inspired by the humane and sustainable farming practices that the farm uses that every since then my husband and I have tried to adopt a seasonal diet and eat local whenever possible. Overall, I had such an incredible time at the goat yoga farm and farm tour with cheese tasting that we came back again the next year. This is an experience I highly recommend to everyone! Advanced registration was not required, so I just showed up a few minutes before the class started in order to sign-up and get settled. They offered shareable mats at no cost and had many other props available as needed. The studio was located on a hill and had floor-to-ceiling windows, so the views were incredible. Though the place had been open for a few years, everything seemed new and clean. (However, I do wish others wiped down their mats after class, as I did!) My session was taught by Laurie Sanford and was rather challenging, despite being for all levels. It was a good blend of being active and doing relaxing stretches. I would definitely go back if I found myself in the area again.

I have seen a dramatic change in my health and fitness level since I made Body Be Well the foundation of my fitness program. Because Pilates focuses on core strength, it has helped me progress with the other forms of exercise I do including yoga, spinning and barre. My posture and flexibility has greatly improved and I cannot say enough about the experienced instructors. I have taken classes with all of them and they all bring a special unique touch making each class interesting and different. Fitness fads come and go with me, but I am addicted to Pilates and there is no better studio than Body Be Well to practice it at. I wish I could give them more than five stars. My only regret is not finding them sooner.

Luckily I had cash and the former owner came in to take the class and knew where the change was. I'm not blaming the teacher at all, I own a studio and k ow how it goes. With our initial conversation she helped me to realize the actions and thoughts that linked together to create tension and blocked energy in my body. From there she then provided me with one of the most unforgettable massages I've ever experienced. She started off with aromatherapy as I layed on the this pre-warmed cozy massage table. The tranquil music that played in the background placed me at ease in an instance. She then provided me with the most relaxing massage I've had, that I even slightly dosed off.
