American Freight sort of lives up to the name - the place is essentially a warehouse full of basic furniture: couches / love seats, table sets and bedding. Selection is not the greatest or most extensive, but if you happen to hit something that works for you, then you can most likely score a decent deal. That being said, the prices here seem to trend about $20 - $50 lower than what you can find online. Hard to actually tell if this is first run stuff or factory clearance items- I am going to lean towards factory clearance as some of the sets I was able to locate online are currently discontinued. To their credit, the sales guys let you sit, lay and frolic on everything in the place without the constant sales pressure, which was really refreshing. This might be a good place to try if you have an idea of what you are looking for and you are flexible on what you want. It is a little off the beaten path- my navigator took me to the mall then gave up, you essentially have to go around the left side of Kroger, then behind the movie theater to find it. Very Poor Customer Service…read more I have purchased a loveseat that would match the couch I just got from them. I had a date for it to be delivered and that day has come and went. It is now five days later and still no delivery. I have had many calls to the Loves, Park, IL store regarding this. I have gone in person three times. Its one excuse after another as to why it hasn't been delivered. I have even placed calls to their customer service. The first lady I dealt with through customer service was beyond rude. Apparently as the store is closing as a whole they don't care as long as they get your money. A person should not have to beg like a dog for something that purchased to be delivered.

Each time I have called they tell me they have ordered them and will deliver them in a few days. I still don't have my pillows. They have lied to me several time.
