I have always been curious about IV therapy and wondered if it really helped and if the hype from…read morecelebrities was real, and this week was the perfect opportunity to find out. I had been feeling under the weather from a mild cold I was recovering from, and I was about to go on a 3 day trip to Southern Cali so I wanted a boost before I left. Best decision! I walked into Thrive IV Wellness Lounge, filled out some paperwork, and was quickly brought back to the IV lounge area where Crosby (the IV Tech) asked me a few basic medical history questions and explained the options available and the benefits of each "IV cocktail". Since my goal was get a bit of an immunity booster it was suggested I get the Essential Cold Care IV pack which is packed with a ton of vitamins/upplements. Most people aren't needle fans, including me but I must say the insertion was actually easy and painless. The lounge area was quiet and relaxing, had plenty of recliners, and I was even offered water and a snack. Once the drip started, my arm felt a bit chilly which I was warned about, and it took about 50 mins for my body to consume the fluids. The quickest results I noticed was the relief of the mild headache I've had for the last 2 days. It completely disappeared 15-20 mins into my session, so that was awesome. Well, it's now 9 hours post IV Therapy and I feel better than I have the last 3 days and had enough energy to take a pilates class. Safe to say I'm a believer and I will be back! If you're on the fence about trying IV Therapy, you'll be happy to hear new clients get 20% off their first IV therapy session.

I opted for the Covid Cosmo (now known as the Essential Cold Care) and the extra 500 ML saline solution ($25). I was surprised that it included: Vitamin C, B-12, B-complex, Magnesium, Zinc, Lysine, Biotin, Glutathione, Selenium & NAD+ and vitamin D. The price was only $200. After a gastric bypass in 2001 left me chronically dehydrated and unable to absorb vitamins/nutrients, leaving me with both nutritional and vitamin deficiencies. I've been having medically prescribed IV infusions for years and my out-of-pocket co-pay is always more than $200. I started with an email to Thrive Infusion IV Wellness Lounge asking for an IV infusion appointment for the following Wednesday for the afternoon. I was immediately contacted by Lindsey and confirmed for a 1:00. She texted me to confirm my IV selections, my appointment and gave me the address. They are located inside their sister company: Brain Health Restoration. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Christine at the front desk and soon afterwards my nurse; Crosbie arrived to take me back. The facility was very clean and quiet. Crosbie reviewed my intake paperwork; and she was both knowledgeable and thorough. I didn't feel rushed in any way and appreciated the time she took to respond to my questions. Once connected my IV with the extra hydration took about 90 minutes to drip. Crosbie was attentive, easy to talk to she checked my IV regularly making sure it was flowing well. We chatted and before I knew it, I was done. When I arrived, at best I was hoping to leave feeling refreshed. But I left feeling that the boost to my immune system was immediate had 100% absorption. I feel my energy and mental clarity have improved, even my sleep has been notably better. I am so grateful to the Thrive team for making my visit a positive experience from beginning to end. I am looking forward to coming in regularly to maintain this natural high and can't wait to try the new oxygen therapy and PH balance. Maureen Price

Emily is awesome! She's friendly, helpful, honest, and fair! I've made Bella Grey Med Spa my go-to…read moreplace and so grateful to Emily and her staff for making me feel welcome and taking such good care of me during each visit!

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

I filled out the exhaustive online forms you need when you're going to a doc for the first time. I had my appointment for my first ketamine infusion for 7/14. Last Sunday afternoon 7/9 I get a call cancelling the appointment. When I asked the lady the reason why she had no answer for me whatsoever...annoying! On Monday Greg called to reschedule but when I told him I was upset over the cancellation with no reason to be had he literally cut me off shut me down, and hung up on me. Wow did he change from the first calls I had with him. No apology/No explanation! Zero. Zero. Stars The good news is I'm going for my fist ketamine infusion this week! And the place is 5 minutes away from my home! Just a FYI for my readers, I've suffered with terrible back pain for 13 years and hoping this will help. From my exhaustive research I've learned that the pain signal in the brain can get a ketamine reset from that constant signal. I'll be updating you all on my outcome! I'm responding to the comment left below 'my perception" is unfair because my reviews are completely Honest and completely True!! It's sad when a biz cannot acknowledge their mistake (mistakes)

All I knew was conventional talk therapy and medication was not working for my medication resistant depression and Major Depressive Disorder. I was literally paralyzed for a year of my life! It took everything I had to get out of bed to just do the smallest things in my life. I finally reached out to my psychiatrist and told them my current talk therapy was just not working for me. I needed something different with a new approach. Mind, body, soul. He directed me to ketamine therapy for my depression. I reached out to Radiance and made an appointment. I had a two hour appointment with the doctor before any of my ketamine treatment started. He explained the entire process to me from start to finish. I felt comfortable to ask questions and did so as I needed to. My first session was an amazing experience, and I felt supported through the entire process, from start to finish. I felt well taken care of. By my next therapy, I had already started feeling the positive effects from ketamine treatments. I walked in for my second treatment and everybody knew my name! I had already started to form a relationship with all of these wonderful staff members! The process was so fluid and never felt clinical in any way. As the weeks went on, I began to open up and feel more and more comfortable shared the struggles I was having in my life. As more time went by, I was starting to figure out how to use the environment and communication with the staff to further enhanced my ketamine journey. I started keeping a journal, processed my feelings before, and after my session, doing breath, work, guided meditation, or just plain crying. No matter my state, I felt genuinely safe and supported. I always knew when I pushed my call button, someone would be in my room right away. I was welcomed every time I walked in the door. As the sessions progressed, I made huge strides. My depression started to lift, the anxiety didn't feel like it was wrapping around my neck like a noose. Between the staff and the medicine, I started noticing my mind becoming less noisy with my horrible self talk I've struggled with my entire life. With the help of the staff I started noticing the following: Reduced toxic self talk Healing some past traumas Getting proper rest More dedicated to daily meditation Letting go of attachments that didn't serve me Pain and nerve relief from lupus and fibromyalgia Decrease anxiety Decrease depression Today, the entire staff celebrated my 49th birthday with me. The level of care at this clinic is second to none by a long shot. This place saved me from myself....and I will be forever grateful

Unfortunately some of the staff didn't believe us so they were hesitant to give us proper service. The people who work here don't seem to be aligned on their training. Their nurses also don't seem to know how to get a needle in without making painful bruises. Luckily I was only getting drips once a month, so I figured I'd just tolerate it because this place was convenient to my house and IVs were for health benefits, or so I thought. Do your research, especially if you are concerned about micro plastics. IV bags are made of plastic and can easily flood your bloodstream. According to research published in Environment & Health, these bits of plastic -- from 1 to 62 micrometers long -- are present in the filtered solutions used for medical intravenous (IV) infusions.. so enjoy if you dare! This was one of the reasons I cancelled my membership. While getting red light therapy, the room where you do it in also doesn't have a privacy lock, something to worry about when you're undressing. Oh and if you get their B12 shot, you may experience headaches from the sudden high vitamin concentration. To top it off, some reviewers have received $25 in credits for leaving a review, so don't believe every good review you see here or on Google. The owner is also hardly ever on site and is unresponsive to emails.
