We chose this company based on their positioning as a higher-end print service and their strong reviews.
Our experience, however, didn't reflect the same level of quality or consistency.
On the first order, the cards were printed using an earlier version of our design rather than the final updated version we had provided. This was also not picked up by us during the proofing stage, so there was shared responsibility here. However, it did result in an incorrect final product.
We raised the issue and there was then a significant delay in communication, with approximately 7-8 weeks and multiple follow-ups before we received a response.
A reprint was eventually arranged, which we appreciated. However, the second batch still showed quality issues, with a noticeable smudging/shadow effect around the lettering that was not present in the original print. We were advised that this fell within acceptable industry standards, although it did not meet our expectations for a premium service.
To be honest, it was the communication that disappointed us the most, as the issues with the print quality themselves were relatively minor individually, but together they resulted in a final product that didn't meet expectations.
While we acknowledge that other clients appear to have had very positive experiences, our personal experience across two attempts did not meet the standard we were expecting, and we will not be using the service again. read more
