Clean, well organized and a pleasure to shop. Even though they have a little less merchandise, it is so well organized and presented that you really can see sooooo many more things than before! Last Sunday, we purchased four large junipers and two large potted plants from the Village Nursey. Unfortunately, the very next day after planting, one of the potted plants began to wilt and die. I called the Village Nursery to explain the situation and let them know that I had photos clearly showing the condition of both plants. I simply asked to return the unhealthy plant for store credit, especially since my receipt clearly states a 30-day return policy. I was extremely disappointed by the owner's response. Rather than being helpful or trying to resolve the situation professionally, I found the interaction unfriendly and dismissive. I was not asking for anything unreasonable--only store credit for a plant that began failing within a day of purchase. We have a large property and would have happily continued purchasing plants from this nursery. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning. I also cannot recommend this nursery to our friends and family here in Lake Arrowhead or to the many friends who visit us from Los Angeles. Good customer service matters, especially when something goes wrong. This experience left us feeling that our business was simply not valued.
