The job took a couple days longer than expected but such is life when you're working with a lot of sq ft and simultaneously just had the floors refinished. The team was *incredibly thorough* with protecting the floors, walls, and other areas that weren't being painted. All of their prep work was top notch. The trim and baseboards came out gorgeous. And the rooms we had painted look incredible. It was a little more expensive than a couple other quotes, but I am very happy and feel like it was money well spent for very professional work. Attached photos are just two rooms, the green room they painted and did the baseboards. But they did work in 8-12 rooms in our house depending on how you count and every single one turned out great.

Each time they have responded to our inquiry promptly, communicated clearly regarding job pricing, timing, and expectations, and completed the work on (or ahead of) schedule. I was expected to remove pictures and anything else attached to the walls, and the crew handled outlet plates, blinds, and everything else. They were efficient, polite, and we are extremely pleased with the results. Then 7 am Monday right on time, he brought a big crew of six to prep all areas for painting, paint, touch up, clean up. We paid by check a deposit which was half of the project funds Before he even started the job, he started emailing to delay. He emailed us on 9/9 and stated that he would be able to demo the bathroom on 9/14 & 9/15 as scheduled but he would be delayed because of another job and wouldn't be able to begin the rebuilding of the bathroom until 9/19. We agreed to proceed. The demolition invoice was itemized and he completed most of the demo on 9/14-15. However, he did not complete the entire job. We discussed that our tile was a lead glaze and he spoke of all the precautions he would take. He did NONE of that, we had lead dust EVERYWHERE in our bedroom, in our air vents, in our drain. On 9/18, we emailed him to confirm his start time on 9/19 as we had not heard from him. He replied to my email stating he would be delayed again at another project until 9/25. So on 9/22, we terminated his services via email and requested a refund of the balance for uncompleted work. We have not heard back except to reply he got the email. We are currently sitting with a demolished bathroom, no communication, and no response regarding the deposit. I do not recommended this individual at all.

I hired them to lay carpet in the basement and strip the paint off of my deck. They were to…read morecomplete in 1 day. Excited I was working with a veteran it quickly turned into a horrible experience. Prompt when he wanted me to sign the contract and get the deposit. Came at 9 the first morning dropped my carpet off and said they had to run town and be back in 30 minutes. 3 hrs later they return. they try to bring a huge roll of carpet in my house and scraped the new paint on my doors and walls. The carpet pad was partially laid and they went home. Next day they were to return by 9 and at 1230 I called them and I was told they were on their way and would be here soon. 1 pm they come in and work for 3 hours and leave. Day 3 they arrive and work for a bit then leave. day 4 they finish. I inspect and initially it looked ok. after walking on it the seams started to show everywhere and the spots where they patched the carpet. the stairs had bulges, could see every staple, see the wood on the stairs, see the seams. I call and want them to return. I get the excuse that the stairs don't take to the carpet well so the staples and nails won't hold. They come back and try to fix but it still looks very bad. I realize I paid them for the carpet and the deck all at one time. They did not do the deck. I message them to tell them I want a refund of 900$ because the deck was not done. I also request a refund because the carpeting looks so bad it will make selling my house hard. I then get blocked on their messenger so I can no longer send messages. I am blocked when I try to text them. I have since found out that they have NO experience doing carpeting. I spoke to the person who sold them the carpet I chose. They told her they have never installed carpeting before. She told them exactly what to do and they did not follow what she told them. I have since had her company come to my house and fix the mistakes and she told me I was over charged by 2500.00, I have filed with the BBB. I am now moving forward with small claims court. Beware of this company. I went off of the VETERAN motive to move forward with them but now it makes me second guess when people use this. This company overcharges for their work and their work is not good at all. I have a ton of pics I can post of what they have done and what it looks like after fixed and guess what?? the carpet and stairs work well together, and the staples and nails are not noticeable.
