I felt horrible asking for changes (she did exactly what I had asked for, it turned out I didn't like what I asked for), but she kept telling me that it's too important of an occasion, they HAD to be perfect! We had to recently get a memorial plaque made for a service and at first had all of it done on a wood base with a gold plate. It looked fantastic! Our family ended up changing their minds and wanted a stone plaque instead. After adventuring all over Syracuse to find a small square piece of marble, we came back here. I was really worried that he wouldn't take our piece or that it would be to hard to do on marble. He had no issue at all and charged the same price as the other day. What impressed me even more so, was that he was able to use his tool to etch in a Chinese name in addition to all of the other stuff we had written. Here is the kicker...the price was out of this world. There was no "per word" nonsense here. The guy charged us the same for both pieces and one had Chinese writing on it. I won't quote the price, but I promise you that not only with your jaw drop at how fair it is, you will love the product when he is done!

On the walls everywhere are plaques, awards, trophy cases, and lots of other things you can customize. Include a gem-encrusted belt that looked like it belonged in the WWF but which he assured me was popular with fantasy football leagues! We flipped through a catalog and compared dimensions and came up with some options that would work. Still, Tom was friendly and patient as we went page by page. I was told orders only take a couple of days to process and arrive. Yay! Note: if you need a custom size made, they don't do that. They purchase everything and bring it in, so custom woodwork plaques in custom finishes are not available here.

They finally emailed back with the shipping label and tracking number on 10/12/23. They claimed the mugs were on back order but will be in the next week. it is now 11/16/23 still no mug, and no communication or replies to my emails. This companies website states fast service, fast shipping and fast/professional communication This is a straight up lie. They do not initiate any communication they do not provide tracking numbers unless requested, even though their website says they send them immediately. This company is a joke and a scam. They deserve negative 5 stares. I have never dealt with a company or service like this that wasn't a scam. If this company is legit, their business practice mirrors a fraudulent company. Do not do business with them. I never will again, besides they are way over priced.

The 1st time was out of curiosity, as we had just arrived in town and were eating at the BBQ joint next door. We came in again to shop around between games and bought a cute baseball leather pendant necklace and an old school looking brown leather baseball for our son. We were encouraged to bring it back for free engraving. We came back and got 5 of the same balls engraved as coaches gift. After visiting a couple of bat companies in Cooperstown to have a trophy bat engraved, it dawned on me that the experience felt more personal at The Wood Bat Factory, so we went back and ordered our son's trophy bat there. I was even more impressed when they said to come back in a couple of hours to pick it up versus the next day pick ups given at the other places. Each time we came in, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. They even engraved a wooden ornament with our family name as a surprise gift to thank us for our business.
