And, I regret that....I was a patient here before this became a Primary Care Walk-In clinic, and the only reason I continued coming was because it was convenient. Over the past few years, though, I've dealt with issue after issue: appointment problems, prescription mistakes, blood draw issues, and constant miscommunication. It feels like there is little to no communication between the staff, and unfortunately, it shows. There have been multiple occasions where staff arrived late, appeared disheveled, and seemed completely unconcerned about the patients waiting to be seen. I've tried to be patient and understanding despite all of the repeated mishaps, but this morning was the final straw. Once again, I found myself dealing with an unorganized, time-wasting, and completely unnecessary situation that should never have happened. After years of giving this office chance after chance, I simply couldn't stay quiet anymore. Patients deserve better. We deserve a medical office that values our time, communicates effectively, and operates professionally. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here, and I can no longer recommend this practice.

The medical assistant, Lori, was initially very friendly, but when I told her why I had come to the urgent care, her mannerism changed at the drop of a pin. She was extremely rude, using a condescending and hostile tone to tell me that this was not an urgent matter, that they could not help me, and that I had been misinformed. While I understand that they could not provide this service and appreciate that information. This could have and should have been communicated in a much more courteous manner.

The check in process was smooth and credible. I loved that I could see the waiting list myself in the app, so I had an idea how much longer I might have to wait. It took a few moments, and some attention to set it up, but there were no snags. Being able to fill in my check in paperwork in the car and review it at my own pace was exactly what I've always hoped for! They allowed me to wait in my car until my time was called. All I had to do is give them a number where they could text me. I worried that I might have issues with billing since I am away from home in another state. No problem. The helpful and professional staff worked it out without difficulty. The wait time turned out to be about what I expected (and what was predicted in the app). My NP was professional, credible, and gave me helpful answers I could not get from providers in my previous visits to other centers at home. I was out quickly and feeling more confident, now that I knew what to expect and what I should do. I really wish all Urgent Care centers ran this way!

Also hand sanitizer to help avoid spreading germs. I recently visited this location. I had to wait a little longer due to computer issues. The nurse seem to be irritated with the constant system failures I heard her slip some curse words during my visit. She was still able to accommodate me but was not a typical visit. Everyone has bad days so I would come back but if your looking for a real thorough exam you may want to make an appointment with your primary physician.
