So, I used to get my hair cut at Just for Him in the WOODLANDs location until my barber had left…read more We moved to Houston back in August of 2022 and found Tom at the Just for Him - Woodlands location. We lived in Cypress and used to get my haircut over at the Just for Him Cypress location, but the barber that used to cut my hair, started to up charge me for all the things that she never used to up charge me. One day we were in the Woodlands location and got my haircut from Tom. She did such an amazing job, that she became my go to barber. Now I am a tough customer when it comes to any barber, but she's been doing such an amazing job that I have continued to come to her since (I want to say 2023) about 3 years now!! Tom is great at what she does, and she left Just for Him to open up her own barber shop, which must've been a smart business move for her, with her being her own boss. I want to be really transparent, but I haven't really shared her details with other people, in fear that she will get too popular. But now that I am flirting with the possibility of moving out of Houston for a potential job offer on the West Coast, I want to make sure that she stays successful. If you are looking for someone who knows how to cut hair and offers services like beard trimming, nose hair and eyebrow waxing, relaxing scalp massages during your wash, then she will be the one to go to!! But don't take my word for it, you should go and check her out. Since I work in the tourism industry, I always joke around with her about flying her to come and cut my hair!!! I also had my husband get his hair cut from Tom when he was visiting during his short Holiday leave. Even he was amazed by how great she was able to give him a fresh fade while still being military compliant (since he's still currently serving in the Military). But even my husband is a hard critic to win over, but she did it seamlessly. If you are out looking for a new barber, or if you are just wanting to try someone new, please give her a shot. Like I said before, I drove over 45 minutes from where I lived in Houston, just to get my hair cut from her...because she is that good!!! Don't take my word for it, just give her a shot :) I don't have her work number and did not want to post her personal number on YELP, so am making this post to help spread the word on what a great barber she is. I know that she also offers a military discount so if you are military, please go and give her a try!!! If you go into the JC salon building, ask for the barber named Tom or Tomasa!!! Her shop is not a big shop, but since she's her own boss, it works for her and does not hinder the quality of cut she provides to her customers!!! Since my hair grows fairly quickly, I tend to see her every other week just to help keep my hair looking nice and looking right. I have to admit, the times that I have cheated on her with another barber, she can always tell because the other barbers end up messing up my hair, but at times I don't have a choice with where I am at and just needing to have a cut right away. But at the end of it all, she laughs after telling me she forgives me and then fixes whatever mess up the other barber did to my hair. Do me a favor and give Tom a try.
