I recently had my wheel hub replaced at Alpha Carrier Experts and what an incredible experience. These guys were welcoming, honest and highly communicative. Not only were their prices fair, but explained everything to me and showed me the work that they completed. Their shop was organized and clean, like no other shop I have ever been to, a true sign that they take great pride in their work. This was a terrific experience, and I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks Mike! read more

Alpha Carrier Experts - Auto Repair Near Me - Palos Hills, Illinois

I do not know what kind of "auto repairs" they do at this facility, but my guess is that they do more towing scams than anything. Here was my experience two days before Christmas. The only business they do is predatory. I was visiting my mother on Dec 23, and my stay ran longer, so we filled out the parking permit and put it on the windshield (more on this later). At my mother's condominium complex, you have to ensure we put a permit out there by 9 pm. When we went out there we noticed that there was already somebody there sitting in a car like they were waiting to check cars. However, it should not have mattered because we filled out the permit and put it on the windshield. So we completed our stay and low and behold are car was towed. When contacting the Alpha Carrier they stated that it was towed because there was no address on the permit. I have attached the parking permit as you can see there is an address of the condominium complex the location states Building C or Location C. They claimed that I needed to put the address in the location section. The location section and the address are 2 different things and there is no way that a full address would fit on that line. Earlier I stated that I put it in the windshield, this is for a reason. A few months ago my niece came to visit her grandmother with her 3 grandkids in a minivan. Guess what? They towed her too. There excuse for this one was that it the permit was put on the dashboard and not the windshield. Where it could be blown off by the wind and exposed to the elements. Needless to say the stranded a mother and her 3 children under the age of 4 in the middle of the night. One of her older kids who understood what was going on had a meltdown, because he was worried about how he was going to get back home. Could you imagine this happening in front of an 81-year-old grandmother? There was nothing wrong with her permit either. I would try to get a copy of that permit, however, on top of the $520 she paid to get her van. They wanted to charge her an additional $5 for a copy of it. I made sure to get a copy when I was towed. Would also want to add what happened when I went to this "auto shop" or whatever they want to call themselves. First of all there is blacked-out window where you cannot see who you are talking to as if that is not shady. They pass everything under the window and speak through a microphone and have all sorts of surveillance. I know they are going to say its about their safety. However, I am pretty sure its because of the shady practices they are doing. They are afraid someone is going to get really upset one day and shoot them up. After I paid for my car they did not give me my receipt right away. Luckily I remembered to come back for it. At this time, I asked for a copy of the permit and he told me it would be $5 and tried to dissuade me from getting it. Told some excuse about having the invoice and that should be enough. I called the ICC and will be filing a complaint and see what can be done. I will be sharing this everywhere I can. This is and update to the response from the owner. There is nothing inaccurate in what I stated. There are no additional specific instructions on what is the "location". There is a C marking the location as far as we understood. It takes away from any additional space needed to put any additional address information. I would also like to add that the car was parked in the are marked for visitors. The is predatory. You know better. read more

Their towing company is complete scum and their personnel is even worse. They towed our cars and then held the cars for an hr trying to refuse payment even though we had the form of payment they asked for. I called to speak to a manager and to get the name of the cashier, zero interest in remediation and directed us to the ICC. I want to make it very clear they made us wait over an hr, we had to get the police involved before he would let us get our cars. It's giving discrimination across the board. They should probably take all the people who work in their garage giving good service and have them teach a class cuz I don't see how they have this rating. Terrible, Terrible Terrible! read more

I was recommended to Mike by a co-worker. After calling several other mechanics with poor customer service and month long wait times, calling Mike was a breath of fresh air! He got my car in the next day, explained everything in thorough detail so that I understood exactly what needed to be done! Mike gave me the breakdown and options of prices and got my car done that very same day. Such a fantastic experience, very trustworthy and genuine! Will be going back!! read more

Mike is the absolute best! First let's start with the service. He was always super friendly and got me in as soon as possible. He worked around my work schedule to make sure to get my car in when I had time. When I was there, he explained everything to me and explained what he was doing and why. I've never had a mechanic take that much time to explain it all in terms I can understand. He was patient, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! By far the best experience I've ever had. Use these guys I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

They deleted my review on google so I will post on every platform possible and report them to the Transportation Division. Every time you delete imma put it back up. I want to speak to the owner as soon as possible!! The "manager" George does not listen nor does he care too. My husband work vehicle was towed recently due to expired plates. It's the companies job to pay for it especially since it's registered to another state. We paid for it whatever. A young guy we spoke to the first time it was towed specially told us HE CAN PARK IN VISITORS PARKING AND WILL NOT BE TOWED UNTIL THE PLATE STICKER IS UPDATED. So we did just that with parked in visitor parking with the pass. A week goes by no issue then last night it was towed. We spoke to George and let him know what we were told. We have no reason to lie! We let him know what the other worker told us and he says "everyone here knows the rules" he would not understand nor call to find out who told us that. I will be doing everything in my power to prove what was said and to get our money back. All calls should be recorded moving forward and whomever told us that should be reprimanded because it cost us almost 300$ for wrong information!! ITS THE PRINCIPLE OF THE FACT THAT AN EMPLOYEE OF THIS COMPANY GAVE US WRONG INFORMATION AND THEY WONT COMPENSATE OR EVEN TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY. We went back and asked for copies of the receipt and they let us know it will be a charge which is fine but during that process George and a dispatcher says "don't you have the receipt". It doesn't matter if I have it or not, if I need another copy and I'm paying you what does it matter!!!! read more

I began doing routine maintenance on my car a while back because I had a couple of occasions where I was charged for auto repair services that were not delivered. I had a rear brake line leak last week and this was something I wanted an experienced mechanic to do the job right. I called Alpha Carriers and spoke with Mike. He was very knowledgeable over the phone and came out to tow my Toyota Camry to the shop. I work in customer service and need to make sure customers are happy at work. I know good customer service when I see it. Mike let me know exactly what was going on with my car at all times and only charges me for services that were needed. I will definitely be giving Alpha Carriers a call if I need towing or auto repair as they are a fair shop and provide great customer support. Mike even mentioned that I could call my insurance company to get reimbursed for the tow charge. I didn't know that I could be reimbursed for tow. Thanks Mike! read more
