Company agreed to plow my drive, did so once, during which time the driver (also the owner fyi) got stuck (which I mention b/c perhaps that is reason he never returned next storm) which he said was due to way he was plowing in that area. Final job done quite well for 1st time. Next storm the next month, texted owner driver end of storm confirming check in place and providing info re other places to move snow other than area in which he got stuck 1st time. 5 hours later called and left a message asking when he would be here to plow and if he weren't coming to let me know. THIS OWNER DRIVER DIDN'T HAVE THE INTEGRITY TO RESPOND TO MY TEXT OR THE PHONE CALL THE EVENING OF DAY STORM STOPPED AND JUST NEVER SHOWED. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY'S WORD--the day after this 75 year old woman did a lot of shoveling to get out to pick up some groceries; she came home to find the company was able to come plow the driveway directly across from mine. Why didn't the owner let me know he never intended to plow my drive again so that I wouldn't have to shovel snow the next plowable storm? So I could have found someone else? I notice the only other reviewer at this point said he was 76; does this company think that old people aren't worth professional respect? I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AS EVEN IF THEIR WORK IS COMPETENT THEIR PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY IS NON-EXISTENT.

The results were gorgeous and they took care to make sure the area (already spongy) would drain properly. Additionally, Scott's had helped us locate and purchase the trees we needed during challenging COVID times when trees were often hard to find. They provided excellent customer service from the time they scoped out the work through planting, and follow-up care. In addition to our tree project, Scott's did extensive weeding and clean-up in areas that had been neglected for 2 years. Their gardener is knowledgeable about planting and about plants themselves and easy to communicate with. He gave great advice--and worked like an expert "partner" with my elderly Mom who knows a bit about gardening but can no longer get out to do it. The landscapers doing the excavation and tree and shrubs planting and general heavy lifting were smart, knowledgeable, able, strong, adept, resourceful, careful, flexible, courteous and respectful. They were skillful with their equipment and went above and beyond after I'd mentioned my Dad who recently passed loved rocks and if they could add some of them on top of the soil to plant around we'd be grateful--I don't know how he did it but he used his rugged backhoe(?) to delicately pick up rock by rock from the massive piled of dirt and then--by hand--made nice rock arrangements. We are having them back to spruce up the yard and to create a strategy for my Mom's perennial garden in the areas where the trees are planted, and beyond. Professional, efficient, skilled, pleasant, and overall good company to work with.

THE PAST 2024 MOWING SEASON: The initial phone conversation and in person meeting were both…read morepositive. Then it was downhill after that. My yard needs lots of landscaping upgrades so I was happy to have the owner come out and look things over. My immediate need was lawn mowing and trimming for the summer with adding in some large and small projects. The owner came and we walked my small yard. He took pictures and I was given a quote for the mowing. It was reasonable and I felt positive about moving forward. Then when they came earlier than expected to mow, I was sure I made the right choice. It is always nice to come home from work to a freshly cut lawn. But with this 1st cut, the loose cut grass remained, not raked, bagged or in the expected grass catcher. My bad for not asking as that is something that was just automatically done with my last lawn professionals. A few days later I was walking the property and found that on one side of my house the grass/weeds were overgrown and had been missed on the mowing day. I also found that a section behind the house was left untouched as well. Also found was a lawn decoration that had been mowed down and broken. If I had know they were coming it is something I would have removed. It wasn't expensive but it showed a disregard for my property. The fact that it wasn't mentioned is what bothered me. I texted the owner about the unmowed areas and also mentioned the lawn ornament and a few other things that I noticed had happened when the mowers came through. The owner texted me back and said bagging & dumping would be an additional $10.00 per mow. And to mow the other side of my house, which is actually just a small buffer between me and my neighbor, would be an extra $10.00. If you come out and spend as much time with me walking & discussing a property as small as mine, and you give me a quote afterwards, I don't expect an immediate price increase of $20.00 after just one mow. I moved on to another lawn professional whose quote was the same as my original quote from Globe Green. $20.00 per mow less, with glass clippings automatically removed with their mower and no areas of this small yard left unmowed. AND, the price stayed the same for the season.

Perhaps he's having a bad year, or month. I have never been treated like this. I have been an outstanding client. I am astonished by his lack of professionalism with a client who has always been kind, prompt with payment, and lavish with praise. I am extremely disappointed and very, very disturbed by the way I have been treated by him. I am a retired English teacher - certified in two states - so my skills in communication are above par. This has nothing to do with how I have been carelessly and disrespectfully treated.
