Review #13 for 2020…read more Aunty Zennie Sawyer of Haku Designs has been making AMAZING clothing and accessories from her original screen prints for several decades. All of her designs are based on things from the āina such as kalo, kupukupu, lauae, liko, ōhia lehua, and more. She primarily prints women's clothing and accessories (v-neck shirts, tank tops, scarves, etc), but she also does a limited stock of men's clothing as well. Last year I provided Aunty Zennie with a collared black shirt and requested a liko print, and I was super stoked with how it came out. Every time I wear the shirt, I get lots of compliments, and I tell people it's one of a kind! She recently did a copper colored print of kalo on a dark gray shirt for me, and I'm stoked to wear it once the stay-at-home order is lifted. Aunty Zennie mostly does small craft fairs, but she also posts her stock to Instagram and Facebook and can be contacted on those platforms for orders.
