I immediately did an intense research on the internet and all roads lead me to Dr Mary Umbrello in Kea'au. I called a friend and shared with her my reaearch and idea. We both decided to face this adventure together. It sounded right but I questioned if it would deliver. I couldn't wait to get rid of the constant stuffed feeling in my gut and to experience clarity again. I was excited and eager. After the cleanse, nothing could of prepared for what I experienced. I was totally drained of what little energy I already possessed. I didn't panic because I experienced this feeling several times and knew exactly what this was . . . DETOX! I couldn't function. Drove back to Kona and fell asleep . It wasn't till the next morning I felt the magic happen. My gut felt light , my brain and thoughts were connected. My energy level had improved and I was so grateful. Called my friend, discussed our results and decided to make an appointment with Dr Mary for a 10 day Hydroclinic cleanse. We knew we were on the right track to better health and this would be the foundation we needed to heal our bodies. I'm so excited and cannot wait to begin this new journey. Here's to a happier healthy life

I was looking for a naturopath Dr. I could trust. I found all that and more! on phone calls w/Dr. Mary, I learned about the 10 day cleanse, it was a choice that felt hopeful, leading me along on the right track. she was patient and kind with all my questions. with each speed bump, information and trust magnified. after our first colonic, confirmation came, this was the tip of the iceberg and made decisions clearer. I vomited that night after and knew it was working, I was cleaning out, hoping the antibiotics, toxins, etc. were exiting. There was more to clean, more to do and consistency grows. I enjoy transparency, I researched, and let my medical doctors know, including my physician assistant n specialists. I was pleasantly surprised and welcomed the green light, confirming my choice n safety. I knew this was a part of what I'd been preparing for all these decades. I was hopeful that this would allow me to continue to clean, assimilate and heal. This was a huge missing piece! No regrets! the journey continues, now with added confirmation of what I knew and additional strength, power and support I need to be more consistent in living my best life as I age! the possibility of getting better and best became more real! these last chapters of my life are a wonderful adventure! and, now We are forever friends and sisters as well! Many of the RNs are traveling and maybe only here for a few months. So I felt the care was very well-rounded since they bring their skills, experience and expertise from other hospitals around the country. I also felt the full-time long-term providers were excellent. The food is exceptional and plant based options are always available. My wait in the ER was never more than 35 minutes, except when coming in by ambulance. In those cases, no wait at all. The facilities are dated in some ways, but not so when it comes to equipment - X-ray, MRIs, etc , all in good condition. I had 2 MRIs there actually. Went well.

He was there 4 days getting IV hydration . Doctor response took a long time . We asked if someone was assisting him walk around the hall to keep his strength up . The staff said yes , he said no . Staff said he just did not remember . We have access to his chart . No notes about walking . We asked several times for someone to assist him to shower. 4 days no shower . His B/P improved and he was able to be discharged. 4 days in bed only assistance was to bathroom. No physical activity, no shower , nothing . Unfortunately they are the only show in town . If they paid our local nurses what they pay traveling nurses to fill in we might have a well staffed caring facility. His diet was not conducive to his difficulty with digestion. It seems there was no continuity of care . The oncologist could not take the time to come see him while he was there . That would be to convenient. He will have to come back up to same location next week for oncology consult . No patient advocate came in as we requested . The social worker came in and asked what he wanted to do without checking with the family or making sure there was care giving set up prior to discharge ! He lives alone . Just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer . We count on the "care givers" to coordinate and recommend the "next step" nothing . Luckily he has family to help . We have never been down this road . We needed information as well . As much as we asked we got nothing . We called hospice . We got the appointment for him next week . We got transportation arranged . We researched care needed . Diet conducive to his diagnosis. Lucky he has our mom and strong sisters !!! We really feel we are on our own . You are your own advocate. Unfortunately he does not know the questions to ask or really what he has or what to expect . He is not a druggy or street person . He is an adult that needs good medical care .

She explained everything she was doing and I could sense the power of her actions. I can already feel the results. I would recommend her whether you've done shamanic journeying before or are completely new to it. It's an incredible form of medicine, similar to other types of energy work I've gotten but with a deeper sense of connection to unseen forces. Shardai works out of a cute little space in Manitou Springs. The only downside is the parking but if you go earlier in the day it's easier to get a spot. Or you can catch the free shuttle. She also offers discounts for multiple sessions, and something called raindrop therapy using essential oils which I want to check out next time I see her.

We discussed pressure points and my health history a bit, and then Brenna went to town digging into my stress areas, coupled with a soothing and dream-like massage. Things popped and relaxed. This review is WAY overdue, but having a baby keeps you busy!…read more Cindi is the best doula you could ask for! I am so grateful to have her and my midwife, Nancy Beyda, at my birth (such a great pair!). She helped me prepare a birth plan so that my birth could go exactly as I wanted. She really goes above and beyond to try and be there for you. She visited after my birth to make sure I felt comfortable nursing etc, and she prepared delicious, home cooked meals for me after the birth. She is such a kind, caring mother & soul - someone you'd want around while you birth, especially if you don't have family nearby. She is trained in using rebozos to shift position of baby, she is certified in birthing from within (and practiced exercises with me on Mother's Day when my baby was late, and my water happened to break later that day), and she will encapsulate placenta pills if you'd like that service (she also makes beautiful placenta art). She also teaches prenatal yoga and has mommy and me classes at her house for new mothers, and hosts retreats for mamas to be. She also took some photos of my birth to capture those very first moments. We are so grateful to have found her!

She truly helped me through both of my home-births in 2014 (7 hours of labor with intense back labor) and this year (2 hours of labor with intense frontal contractions. She is the best postpartum doula around! She's not only a baby whisperer but is highly knowledgeable and dedicated in what she does. Check-out all of her impressive certifications and accomplishments online. She shares much of her own wisdom not only from being a mother of two beautiful, smart, grown children of her own, but also from drawing upon her own life experiences. In her postpartum work, she does everything like cook you healing yummy foods, wrap your belly, prepare you snacks, prep meals, does your dishes and laundry and also tidies up your home. She is super organized and thoughtful. She always asks if you need anything and makes sure you are well-rested and comfortable while breastfeeding. Cindi is also fantastic with kids. She served as a lovely "mother's helper" to my family (especially to my 3-year-old son for the month of March after my delivery). She took him on walks, played with him, and did the whole bed-time routine with him. She is hands down just amazing! We miss her already and wish she could be around forever! In 2014, I interviewed with several doulas before hiring Cindi and thought that Cindi was a gem. I really liked the fact that she is a mother herself and has a lot of experience up her sleeve to offer to curious, new mothers.
