He's been teased about his curls, and at an age when confidence matters so much, we wanted to support him when he came home asking for a fade with highlights. A friend recommended Boss Cutz Hawaiʻi and told us they really know style. Jason's "BOSS Reset" was exactly what our son needed: a fresh style and a confidence boost. Since he plays soccer, he got his "Boss Soccer Cut," and he loves it! As a mom with thick, curly hair who was teased about it growing up, it meant a lot to see our son feel good about his hair and excited about his new look. We're grateful to have found Jason and a place our son can return to as his style and confidence grow. Boss Cutz is about more than just a haircut. Thank you, Jason! --Mark, Amanda, and Reno

Right from the beginning, the team was super communicative, even reaching out about earlier openings for his scheduled time. Becky, who was working the front desk, was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. She set a warm and welcoming tone right away. Tim's haircut was done by Jason, who was phenomenal. He was warm, personable, and genuinely funny--keeping a great conversation going while still showing exceptional focus and care in his technique. What really stood out to Tim was how intentional Jason was. He took the time to ask questions, understand exactly what Tim was envisioning, and made sure the cut matched his needs. Every step of the haircut felt thoughtful and precise, never rushed, yet the vibe stayed upbeat and fun throughout. Tim found himself laughing through the whole experience! The entire atmosphere at Boss Cuts was so positive, welcoming, and professional. Tim walked out not only with a great haircut, but also having found his new go-to barber. The price for the service we received was also amazing He's already booked his next appointment! Huge thanks to Jason, Becky, and the whole Boss Cutz team for delivering such top-tier service and making us feel so valued. This was our first visit--but definitely not our last!

Got there as a guy was walking out he said just go in, I did, 3 barbers, one had just finished the guy, they said to sit down and she would be with me after she cleaned up, so very little wait. Younger gal, she asked questions about what I wanted. I just wanted a good all over trim. She said ok, she would start with a scissor cut and then taper the back with razor. She did a great job, maybe got the back and sides a little shorter than I'm used to but the overall job looked great. I am a part time resident, so will definitely come back here next year.

Apparently, our time doesn't matter to them. So, often the wait is over an hour long. They value their time but not the customer's. It's not like we have a life, plans or schedules! This weekend was unacceptable. Their listed hours for Friday and Saturday are 6:00 & 4:00 p.m. respectfully. Both days, they were closed more than an hour earlier. No signs to say their hours were adjusted. Just a "closed" sign on the door. I made four trips in two days for nothing. The first because the wait was absurd and the second, to find they closed early without notice. Extremely disappointed and shows a lacking of customer service.

I know it can be scary getting your hair colored or cut, but Hannah was honest, communicative, and gentle.
