I'd just finished fasting for bloodwork and I was hungry as heck, so I figured this was the best time to finally stop by Aloette Go. I'd had their legendary burger at the Spadina location a few times, so I decided to try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich ("Crispy buttermilk fried chicken, aloette hot sauce, Go sauce, & shredded lettuce"). It was ready within minutes and basically knocked my socks off. This is one stellar chicken sandwich. The crispy chicken has been cooked perfectly, and I appreciated that it had been coated in a lighter batter than one normally associates with fried chicken sandwiches. The other components, especially those addictive, delectable sauces, complement the chicken perfectly, while the soft, slightly sweet brioche bun ties the whole thing together amazingly well. I love this place and if I still lived in the area, I'm sure I'd be getting takeout all the time. (I will note that I was even able to sit down and enjoy my sandwich, as the place has a few stools available.) read more

Aloette Go is a simple, clean limited menu take out place for a good burger or fried chicken sandwich. They have a very small counter but it's really a delivery or pick up only place. The Aloette burger is good, it's not huge but a normal size burger with a crispy fried piece of elemental cheese, lettuce, onions but no pickle. The Go burger has a large fried cheddar cheese "slice" which is also good. The combo is the best value and I recommend the salad wedge. It's basically a normal salad with wheat berries. Fantastic chicken sandwich! I brought it home and added some pickled red onions from my fridge and it was *chefs kiss* Juicy meat, great sauce, and soft bun. Everything was spot on. They were also super fast. It only took 10 minutes. They gave me extra napkins which I always appreciate. Great food and great service. read more

When I heard the Michelin starred Alo had an affordable quick serve chain close to my work, I was excited to try it out. I wasn't very hungry so I skipped the burger and instead got the mini wedge salad ($5) and the 3-piece chicken tenders ($9). They actually ended up giving me 4 tenders instead of 3, so overall I thought the quantity of food for the price was more than fair. I didn't eat the food immediately after picking up, but regardless the chicken tenders were still very crispy and well seasoned. I was really looking forward to trying the famous Aloette wedge salad, but honestly it was a bit disappointing. I found the topping to be far too salty, which really detracted from the appeal of the dish. Overall Aloette Go was pretty good and I'd like to come back to try the burgers and fries in the future. read more

Pretty busy little shop, the service was very friendly. Normally, people were taking their order to go (hence the name) there are two tables outside that you can eat at as well. I ordered the Aloette burger combo with fries. The burger was delicious, the patty a bit small, makes for the perfect girl dinner. The crinkle fries are so good, I normally stray really far away from crinkle fries since they taste too potatoey. BUT, these are perfectly crispy a 10/10. read more

Aloette Go's newest location near Yonge and Eglinton has finally opened! Today (Aug 24th), they hosted a "Community Day" where all customers enjoyed a free meal (1 main and 1 side) on them for either lunch or dinner. Ever since the Alo food group created Aloette Go, I've been waiting for a location closer to where I am located. This location, just like their Liberty Village location, serves up burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, side (fries) and dessert. The restaurant is takeout only. I stopped by Aloette Go on their opening day, about 10 min before opening time. To my surprise, there was a line of about 15 people ahead of me where the restaurant had already opened their doors. I waited 10 min in line to order my food and another 10 min for my food to be ready. The staff were friendly where service was efficient, speedy, and calm. You could tell that they were slammed with orders but the staff all kept their composure. I opted for the Aloette Go burger (emmental cheese, pickled onion, lettuce) which was cooked medium, and a mini wedge salad as my side. Could have gotten that truffle burger as well but I figured it might be too heavy for lunch. I ate nearby and the burger was the perfect portion for lunch. I forgot to get a fork to eat my salad but have had the Aloette wedge salad before which is delightful. As I passed by Aloette Go again after finishing my food nearby, the line was steady and staff were still hard at work pushing through all the orders. This was a great takeout meal! Ordered through uber eats so I can't comment on service or ambiance but this was great! I ordered the aloette burger, we also ordered the chicken strips and spicy chicken sandwich all with combos, as well as the loaded fries. For dessert we ordered the Nutella cake and a couple of cookies. Everything was really good! The burger was probably the best main dish, the patty was cooked medium well and felt juicy, I liked the grilled cheese on top and the toppings/sauce on the burger. I wasn't crazy about the chicken sandwich as it had sort of a cumin spice that I wasn't crazy about, but it was juicy and the breading was still crispy despite it being takeout. The wedge salad might have been my favourite item, I'm a big fan of iceberg lettuce and I loved all the crispy bits and the pickled red onion as well as the dressing, this was super refreshing and tasty. The fries were also great. Again, they were super crispy despite it being a takeout, I enjoyed the toppings on the fries as well. The Nutella cake was super moist and the frosting had a slight hazelnut flavour but the cream cheese flavour was a bit overpowering. It was kind of like a fancier deep and delicious cake. I liked it but it wasn't amazing. The value is actually pretty decent despite it coming from a very high end restaurant name. They've allowed their food to be super accessible this was and they executed it really well in my opinion. For a couple dollars more than McDonald's, you get a pretty premium burger and side. I would definitely order again and maybe try one of the other burger options and definitely get that salad again! read more

I went to Aloette Go restaurant for lunch. The hype has died down and the restaurant was empty. The service was friendly. The hamburger and fries were pretty good, but not amazing. Only giving three stars because there was no seating available and I had to eat at the Eglinton food court. read more

A great new spot that has eclipsed Burger's Priest for midtown's best takeout burger. While offering a stripped down version of the famous Aloette burger, you still get that perfectly crispy cheese, which gives some salty flavour as well as texture to the burger. Crinkle fries were very crispy as well, especially since extra cheese sauce and peppers were thoughtfully packed separately for takeout. Prices are reasonable as well, with the Go Burger running at only $9. read more

The burger is pretty good, not a big fan of the crinkle cut fries, but they are well done. It absolutely doesn't really distinguish itself from the many other smash burger spots some within walking distance (Rudy's on Eg for example). I'll go back, but my go to burger spot in the neighborhood will stay Burger Shack. read more

Big fan of all the Aloette's, one of the best in the city. I have no issue paying for quality but, when the quantity of food changes and the price remains the same, it's an issue. The small wedge salad is now 2/3 full with the dressing on the side. Not sure if this was the idea put the dressing on the side and decrease the size of the salad. It's now 3 bites for close to $6 feeling ripped off now unfortunately. Who else has noticed? read more

I was excited to see this pop up in the neighbourhood. The staff were lovely. The food? Meh. The Santa Fe salad was only good because of the dressing. Unfortunately, the avocado was underripe, and the roasted chicken that I had added to the salad was really, really dry - as in hard to chew, dry. Execution really needs to be stepped up in the kitchen or this place will be a drag on the Aloette name and perception of quality. read more

The other reviewers are right. The price point for the salad here and the value are not aligned. 16$ for a wedge salad that is 1/2 the size it should be. Abismal. Just ordered a truffle burger. Absolutely no truffle flavour and the burger had zero crust on it. The burger tasted like it was steamed like White Castle. read more
