Definitely runs on her own agenda having no loyalty to her clients. Her lack of ethics & scruples equal those agents in huge metropolitan areas where it's dog eat dog. Certainly not in a small town setting where honesty & openness to communicate are valued Reputation is critical for small town agents --guess she didn't get that memo:( Fortunately there are other agents to choose from my recommendation would be to do just that. Her comments below do not have anything to do with my particular case. She's referencing something I have no idea about. But glad she's an expert on unethical behavior... from what I hear she should be. My husband and I were very impressed with Shelly's availability. She was able to meet with us anytime we were available to tour homes, evening and weekends. We really appreciated her response time as well. If we had a question, she would find out the answer for us promptly. Shelly even goes above and beyond after the sale has been finalized. We had an issue with the previously owner not providing a proper replacement of an appliance, and Shelly continued to help us solve the problem even after we closed on the house and move in. Where do I start, 1st thing is she loves to gossip about houses she sold to other people. She referred to our African American neighbors as "colored people". Our landlords hired her to sell the house and she knew we were not leaving the residence for another month. She works on her own agenda not giving a crap about the current tenants. She would call me asking if a time was good if I told her no, she would try to set up a evening time for the same day I told her was not going to work. This was also during COVID and I was pregnant. Got into it with her because I wanted people wearing mask and gloves, she insisted on fighting with me about the inspector saying "he doesn't leave his house". Top it all off with she told our landlord that we were being difficult because I said I didn't want people coming over at 8:30Pm saying she's working off his schedule. Which lead to our landlord trying to make us feel bad and let her do whatever she wants. Well I have basic tenant rights which say you can only do services during business hours. I spoke to numerous people who said they would refuse her services in the future and had a similar experience as I did. I will also be making a complaint to the better business bureau as well. read more
