She told us here. It's 11 mins away. So off we went. It's in the middle of Randolph. Cute place with a walk up order window. I had gone to their Facebook to see what kind of ice cream they had. Homemade and all the current flavors listed. I got the Carmel pecan in a m&m flurry. It was amazing. No lie amazing. Tasted so good. And it was huge. They don't skimp for $6. My partner got the blueberry ice cream in a medium cone that was huge. We got a cup so she could eat it. That was also fresh and delicious. Lots of family's were there and came up while we were there. It's definitely a local known place. There must be a lake or pool nearby because lots of family's with bathing suits on. Seems like a perfect place to go after a day of swimming and sun. Staff was super nice. Lots of ice cream choices all homemade. I think Facebook has current flavors. Lots of parking front and back. Picnic benches and benches to sit on. Nice little summer and fall ice cream place. If I did t live so far I'd come get a lot. This is a do away over!!!

What is the classic Ohio flavor of ice cream?…read more Well to me it is Blue Moon. While I am not 100% sure what the actual flavor is, I do know that I really like it. It is a little bit of fruit, a little vanilla, a little cotton candy, a little touch of magic. This was my first time at this location. My family and I have been going to the one on 44 since I was a child. Homemade ice cream. Generous portions. A happy summer memory. Favorite flavors over the years: Chocolate Malt Black Walnut Hawaiian Surprise .....and the aforementioned Blue Moon

The parking lot is a decent size gravel lot and people honestly park every which way and direction. We waited behind maybe 1 other patron and our order was taken and delivered within 3 minutes. The building is nondescript, but you'll see the crowd, for sure. Cash only!!

Today, we had a unique adventure when we visited Hartville Hardware in search of ground cover to…read moreprotect our freshly sown seeds from hungry critters. Richard was extremely helpful and showed us where the garden department was located. Even the bags of dirt are displayed as beautifully as merchandise in a high-end store! After making our purchase, we decided to head over to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted and given our choice of a booth or table--we chose a booth. Our server, Josh, promptly offered beverages, and we enjoyed freshly brewed coffee while looking over the menu. I chose the BLT on a croissant with a side salad. The meal also came with fresh buns, available in either whole wheat or white. Josh told us that most people choose the white, which made me smile. The salad arrived almost immediately and included shredded lettuce, grated carrots, and two tomato slices with a side of blue cheese dressing. It was good, but the BLT--wow! It had more bacon than Miss Piggy could dream of. Unfortunately, there was no mayonnaise on it. I'm not sure whether it wasn't offered or if I simply overlooked it, but I added some to the half I brought home, and it was just as delicious later. I would highly recommend the BLT on a croissant. And if you have the opportunity, ask for Josh as your server. We were told we could request him, and honestly, I would go back just for his excellent service. Another fun aspect of the experience is the atmosphere. The place feels almost like a Las Vegas venue--huge, spotless, and designed to accommodate hundreds of guests. Despite its size, the service was outstanding. We even shared a few laughs with the dessert server. Speaking of desserts, you should see them--they're enormous! So, stop by the hardware store, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, ask for Josh, and save room for dessert. I highly recommend the entire experience and can't wait to go back!

They also offer fresh cut french fries ...however, they didn't have any condiments to add to the fries. And the service was a little slow preparing our food but it was worth the wait.
