I love the way he incorporates these "nerdy" pop culture icons into his designs (Star Wars, X-Men, Ghostface, etc.). You can tell how seriously he takes his craft and it shows in his work. I didn't hesitate to go for a decent sized Darth Vader on my shoulder/arm, and it came out even better than expected. Less than 6 months later and I went back for my second tattoo from Cory - a traditional looking dragonfly for my moms 60th bday (she's always had a dragonfly tattoo). Again, perfection. The shop itself is awesome - very clean and open, with flash splattered on the walls and plenty of books showcasing art/tattoos from well known artists for inspiration/reference. Fridge full of complementary waters/drinks. And other artists either hard at work, or just shooting the shit (which is entertaining enough to get you through a full session, thanks Phil). I went in to get my piercings put back in after having surgery.. but I waited 2 months so the holes in my nostrils and septum got a little smaller due to what I had put in them while I waited to go back in. Due to the challenges presented by my holes starting to close a little bit, it took a whole team to get me situated with the jewelry I wanted since I had selected jewelry in the size I had before, but what I shrunk down to. Karter, Desmond and also the owner were all present in the room and got super creative to achieve my goal of getting jewelry back in. They were all amazing and so patient with me. Highly recommend!!

Craig was so amazing and though we didn't have an appointment with Izic he was also super sweet and interactive with us while we were at the shop. First of all, it can be so hard to find tattoo places that accept walk-ins. Tattoos are becoming more and more popular and acceptable in society, so most shops are super booked up with little time in between. But Lyon's Den does accept walk-ins if they have time! So, I found the instagram of Craig, one of the two artists and shot him a text message asking if my mom and I could set up an appointment or walk in that day or sometime soon. Honestly, I wasn't expecting at all to be able to get in that same day. But Craig answered with a lot 2 hours and said he'd have time in the evening! We were so excited. That evening we went in and had such an enjoyable time. We got smaller pieces done but I actually was able to get 2 small tattoos and Craig didn't even blink an eye. Sometimes artists can be picky or even a little rude when you want to get more but he was super go with the flow. And he really made sure that the placement of the tattoos would look it's best. It was also my moms first time ever getting a tattoo, and we told Craig that and he was super kind and patient with her. He made extra sure she was comfortable all throughout the process which I really think helped. Plus, they turned out absolutely gorgeous. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable even considering we were walkins. Their shop minimum is $80 so you want to make sure if it's a smaller one that it's worth that price. I will definitely be coming back here!

Brandon first told me it would $400 for each session because he couldn't finish it one after the $200 deposit but when I got to the register I said $400 right then he was like no $500 I was annoyed but paid it figured I just take that out of the tip then. Next session he should me a picture of the charms and what they would look like and it didn't end up looking like that even though he insisted it did he tried to fix it but just made it end up looking darker which I hated. He said he would do a free touch up but it would lighten up after healing which it didn't. I made the touch up appt because the tattoo he covered up was showing through. Had to wait another 2 months but when I went they didn't have me scheduled! He tried to apologize but the girl at the front desk never even tried to. He said he would come in half an hour early to fix it next week but then decided to bring over another tattoo artist to say you can barely see the other tattoo. Like what? I don't care if you paid to have something covered up it should be covered not trying to make me feel stupid for bothering you or that I was being an inconvenience. Along with complaining about the charms that look like chicken scratch or a kid coloring with a gray crayon I asked him to fix he said it was some of his best work if it was it would have been posted to Facebook like I have a mental disability but I'm not stupid so I was done and I decided not to go back to get the free touch up. I will get my old tattoo artist to fix it from where I lived and just make a vacation out of it probably should have done it to begin with. Really disappointed but I guess not even the best tattoo artist cant make every piece look good.
