Halo was able to come out within a couple days of contacting them and the diagnostic fee was $89, which was to be applied to any work performed if needed. it turned out it was a tripped breaker they were able to reset and my system is cooling perfectly again... for $89!! The most notable and appreciated factor for me is they didn't come in trying to sell me service plans, upgrades to my system or accessories, or otherwise upsell me on a well maintained and well functioning older HVAC system. Even when I asked for a quote on a heat pump to take advantage of the rebates while they last, Halo didn't push me to pick the most expensive option or upsell me on a pricier type of system. And icing on the cake - despite a lot of in and out while working on figuring things out, my technician was constantly putting on and taking off booties to keep my house clean.
