    THE WORST GOWN SALE EVER....

The worst customer service ever... We are treated like we don't have money to buy and they were rushing us because we were there 45 minutes before closing. We ordered 1 but they called the next day saying they can't order the gown because it's not available anymore. No parking for customers too. They used the parking for storage of their garbages . I need to park on the next building. If I can vote for 0 star I would.

I was helped by Veronica who was so detailed and caring throughout the whole process! She sat me down and asked me what I'm looking for in a dress and what wedding vibe I'm going for. She took all my concerns and ran with it, pulling out all the dresses that fit my criteria and some even outside of what I was looking for to add some variety to the mix. I'm still in shock that the first dress she chose/I tried on ended up being THE ONE. She also knew how much I loved the idea of sleeves and she took the time to find some so I could see my vision with the dress and it worked! I ended up walking out with the dress that same day! I had attended a dress try-on at a boutique prior and had been quoted a ridiculous price. At Garnet and Grace I found an even better dress for a fraction of what it would have cost me at the boutique! I 100% recommend Garnet and Grace for all of your bridal attire needs - even the associate that helped me purchase the dress said that they do everything but sell shoes, which is awesome! I love that now I have a one-stop shop for all things wedding dress related. Everyone is so sweet and supportive I can't recommend them enough!

The following months, however, were filled with uncertainty and confusion about when my dress would arrive. With an estimated delivery timeline of 4-6 months, I initially tried not to worry. In December, I was informed that my gown was in the final stages of production, and I paid the remaining balance. As March approached, my family and friends began to grow concerned alongside me. While the responses to my calls and emails were reassuring, it became increasingly difficult not to feel anxious as the wedding date drew closer and our energy and attention needed to be focused on other aspects of wedding planning. We were told that the delays originated with the designer. This is understandably not in their control, but more proactive communication and transparency about the situation earlier in the process would have been appreciated. Ultimately, the dress shipped at the end of April and arrived in early May. Despite this experience, I am still giving Janene's Bridal Alameda 4 stars because of the kind and responsive staff. The alterations team did an excellent job with only about 2 weeks to work with, and every staff member was pleasant. I especially appreciated Jessica, Tiffany, and Mary Ann for being so accommodating, patient, and supportive throughout the process. At one point, I left an item there and the team were very communicative about searching for and locating the item until my return. Most importantly, the business went above and beyond to compensate me for the inconvenience and stress of receiving my dress so close to my wedding date. After everything that happened, I was hesitant to have my alterations done at Janene's, but the team ultimately turned the experience around and made it a positive one. Their excellent customer service and dedication helped make up for the stressful situation. Thank you for making things right and for taking such great care of my wedding dress.

Our wedding dress designer consultant was Virginia and she totally knew what she was doing!!! I loved the dress she picked, initially she picked 2 dresses and one of them ended up being THE dress. I picked out about 3 different ones and tried them on but nothing compared to the first one I tried on. The tears were flowing and it was such a special moment for all of us. The quality of the dress and the way it sparkled was what caught everyone's attention. The transaction was smooth and seamless, everything is final sale of course and they do offer aftercare packages and have recommendations for alterations. I would recommend going here even if you're not from the area bc trust me when I say, it's is worth visiting.

DO NOT GET YOUR WEDDING DRESS ALTERATIONS DONE HERE!!!…read more I purchased my dress at Blossom's and decided to also have my alterations done there because, why not? It's a bridal store, and I trusted that I was leaving my wedding dress with professionals. Unfortunately, they made my dress worse than when I first received it. The delicate threading was damaged, the lace was uneven, the sleeves did not match, and the front of my dress was left crooked and poorly done. I pointed out issues during my fittings and asked for them to be corrected, only to come back and find that they still had not been properly fixed. I ended up having to take my wedding dress to another alterations professional just weeks before my wedding and pay over $500 to repair the damage and fix the alterations that were done here. The second alterations professional had to correct problems that should never have happened in the first place. What makes the situation even worse is the lack of accountability afterward. I was told that the person who altered my dress is an independent contractor. However, she performs alterations inside their store and is the person they provide to customers for alterations. The owner had already sent me a photo of my alteration invoice showing the different alterations that were done to my dress. Later, she told me that according to their records, the only alterations performed were inserting the bra cups and repairing the zipper, and that only $35 could be refunded. However, the invoice she had already sent me clearly showed the additional alterations I had been explaining. Being told something completely different from what was shown on the invoice she personally sent me was extremely concerning and felt dishonest. I was also told that because I took my dress somewhere else to have it fixed before the owner could personally inspect it on me, they could not take responsibility. My wedding was approaching. I was not going to leave my wedding dress damaged just so they could inspect it first. I had already given them opportunities during my fittings to fix the problems, and they were not corrected. Even if only the bra cups and zipper had been altered, how did other parts of my dress that supposedly were not being worked on end up damaged? I asked for a full refund of $550. The owner said she could not give me a refund because of store policy and because the tailor was an independent contractor. She then offered me $200 from her "own pocket" privately, which I found extremely unprofessional considering I paid the store directly for the alterations. I was also told that accepting the $200 would require me to remove my review. I declined to remove my review and continued requesting the full refund. In the end, the full refund was refused, and the $200 offer was also withdrawn after I would not remove my review. This was my wedding dress not an everyday piece of clothing. Having to find someone else at the last minute and spend hundreds of dollars fixing damage caused during alterations was stressful, expensive, and completely unacceptable. The way this situation was handled afterward, especially being given information that contradicted the invoice I had already been sent, felt dishonest and showed a complete lack of accountability. Below are photos of the damage to my dress, along with the invoice showing the alterations that were done. Brides, please be extremely careful before trusting your wedding dress alterations here.

You are not buying a wedding gown now , I don't know what to do with you ! " She was so rude over the phone . My family member is a licensed health care professional. She was just in shock. Since she has paid the $25 on line for the 1.5 hour appointment, we showed up at Janine bridal today at 10 am on a Saturday morning . We arrived 3 minutes before 10 am . Two Caucasian ladies walked in ahead of us. There were two older female staffs inside . One with blonde hair and the other taller lady staff has dark brown hair . The blonde hair lady looked at us , did not smile, did not say welcome to Jaime bridal , or good morning. They helped the two Caucasian ladies ahead of us . The front counter was left with a younger Asian female staff . Her name is Christina. She worked part time there and she was our stylist for this appointment . Christina is very sweet , patient and helpful. After she knew that was our first time looking at the wedding gowns, she gave us a 5 minutes introduction of the gowns and the basis set up of the bridal shop . Then we looked around and pulled 6 dresses to try . Christian helped to fix each gown and made suggestions like how to tailor it to make it look nicer on the bride -to- be . After one hour of try and error , we narrowed down to two wedding gowns that we love . Christina wrote done all the details , gave us a small card for the information. Then she mentioned the trunk show coming up at the end of January 2026 . But we are obligated to buy a wedding gown if we attend the trunk show . Today is January 3, 2026 Saturday. We would have a bad experience about Jaime Bridal from the way the other lady talked to my family member with the bitchy attitudes. Thanks to Christian , these have all changed . Customer service is the primary focus on retailer business . I am not sure how this could have been misinterpreted.
