I found the manager to be quite knowledgeable as he assisted me with selecting a Sangria. The location of the store is good, it has ample parking, is well lit and security was present. After I left the store, I realized that I had dropped one of my gloves on the street in front of the liquor store. My friend, who drove me to the store, called the store and spoke with the manager about the missing glove. My friend returned to the store later that night and the manager assisted with searching for the glove. The glove was found under a parked vehicle on the street. I was impressed with the service and assistance afforded by the manager, as he went out of his way to find my glove. I would definitely recommend this liquor store and will be back when in the area.

No matter who is behind the register, they're always so nice/friendly. Not overly chatty, just kind and polite. Although the interaction is brief, little things like that matter, to me. It makes me feel like you appreciate my business. Even if I have a question the employee(s) are knowledgeable about what they do/dont have and are quick to not just tell you where to look/find it in the store, if possible they'll walk you to it. Nice touch! It gives me Total Wine vibes :) I can confidently say this about their service because I've been enough times, sporadically, to know lol. AND they're the same way over the phone whenever I've called ahead to check if they have something in stock before driving there. Initially, years ago, I attributed the great product/service to being a part of the Buy-Rite chain, which I like. But for some reason the store is now called Cellar97, which I never heard of prior to its change. So, this store is great because of the people, not the name.

I mean you can get just boring regular cheap beer here and it is always like taking a chance if it's going to be cold. The wine selection in scarce. I usually keep at least 2 different beers and 2 wines in the fridge at my house. I am always expecting company =) If I go to Butler's it is probably because I am already beered and just want to keep the night going. I can recommend Butler's for had liquors though. The Absolute, Goose, JD, SoCo are always stocked. Don't expect to go and get some swanky gin or some really hard to find whiskey. But if you are in a pinch and have last minute guests coming over than I am sure you can get a party's worth. I personally prefer to go to the Liquor Gallery or Garcia's due to Butler's overall lack of selection. Butler's is on Elmora right next to the 711 and right across the street from Destino's lounge. There is NO parking lot, just the street which is horrible. If you can be real quick just park in the 711 lot. You have up to half hour before you get towed. Don't eff around either, they will have you towed with the quickness!! They accept major cards. They of course sell tobacco products and bogies are a bit cheaper here than at 711.

I brought it to their attention after they had already rang me up; the response was "doing me a favor and splitting the difference", and "what can I tell you, it happens." This was all emphasized by the cashier snorting at the response. All of this is their prerogative; but it is also my prerogative to not do business there anymore. Mind you the difference was only $2/per bottle, but it was the principle as i had been buying multiple cases of wine there weekly for the last few weeks and who knows what other prices were inaccurate. Make your own judgment; but in my opinion, if you have time to restock, you have time to update price labels. Personally, I'd rather deal with an establishment were the prices are updated and accurate instead of playing a guessing game.

We sat outside, when treated by the waiter we asked about the happy hour specials. He stated only if you sit at the bar. We asked if we could have the specials outside so we could keep our waiter. They agreed or so we thought. We ordered drinks and the waiter seemed irritated when we put our order in for food. He walked away as we started to tell him what we wanted. One of my friends ordered a drink that tasted like pure syrup. She asked him if he could take it back since it was undrinkable. He brought the bar tender out and he had an attitude about the drink saying he made it and it's fine. At this point with the rude arrogant behavior we don't want the food now. We canceled our order and asked for the check. The hostess offered the margarita flatbread for free and we declined. The waiter and bartender were very rude. He brought our check and surprise it was not the happy hour prices they had said they were charging. It's a shame this place is beautiful and has ample parking. The wait staff except for the hostess will have this place shutting down with the way they treat people.
