Chickpea and quinoa burger and baby runner açaí bowl
    Kai M.

UPDATE this place deserves a solid five stars and everyone should go!!! My friends and I have been probably 4-5 times both in Barcelona and Valencia and have tried a bunch of different things, though the runner açaí bowl continues to be the most popular amongst us. We have also used UberEats from Almalibre, which is a great option for when we didn't want to go out. The açaí is sooooo good, as are a lot of the other things on the menu. I ordered the chickpea and quinoa veggie burger today on malt bread with the tofu lemon garlic sauce and it was incredible. Honestly probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. The only thing we wish was that the Valencia location had frequent buyer punch cards, because we definitely would have used them during our stay. Thank you Almalibre for being one of the best parts of our Valencia experience!!!

    Hummus and whole wheat pita

Quaint spot tucked away in the streets of central Valencia bursting with beachy Brazilian vibes. I've been on the hunt for a good acai bowl in Europe but they are almost impossible to come by. Almalibre managed to make the best acai bowl I've had in months and gave me a much needed taste of sunny California. We also got their hummus with whole wheat pita - homemade, delicious and organic. The service was very friendly and they gave us a sample of some traditional peanut powder from Brazil to compliment our bowls. Compared to some of the top-notch bowls in California id give it a 4, but the ambiance and service bump it up to a 5.

Folks who love to eat healthy food in Valencia have to come here. Not only is the good delicious, also the service was extra friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We had burgers, a sandwich and fresh juices, all of the dishes were great!

Super yummy! Cute and hipster place to grab breakfast in the morning. Good for its açaí bowls which were amazing. It got super busy only after being open for about twenty minutes. Such a chill atmosphere, comfortable. Went back twice. Also in Plaza Carmen where there's cool street art and old town towers.

Wow, what a fantastic place! The food here is fresh, delicious, and cheap. If you're looking for a nice break from the traditional fried Spanish cuisine this is the place to go. With generous portions, their acai bowls are packed with flavor with plenty of delicious toppings. In addition, they have suggestions for those who have a hard time deciding topping combinations. As for their other food, it was all fresh and a nice change from the usual fried pace - I left feeling satisfied and light. Lastly, the staff here are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Hope to come back soon!

While studying abroad, my friends and I stopped here all the time. Their old location was cute but small, so they moved to a larger location (conveniently located closer to my apartment). Their acai bowls were absolutely delicious and never disappointed. The paçoca is AMAZING. I couldn't get enough of it. I've also had the veggie hummus wrap which was also great! The staff was always friendly and patient. The staff speaks English so if you aren't comfortable ordering in Spanish, no worries. I highly recommend!

The acai bowls as good as anywhere I've been. And the people were super nice and welcoming. This place is a keeper!

I tried Açai and it was awesome but I think I might make a slightly wrong combination though but it was refreshing and delicious. The staff is super nice, speaks English well and are able to answer all of my confusion. Will come back to dry a drink :)

Absolutely love this place! The guy that works here is so friendly and helpful. He recommended the best sauce/ veggie burger combo imaginable. Still drooling over it. The acai bowl was the best I've found in Valencia so far. So. Fricking. Bomb. Would definitely recommend. Good location too

Fresh food, the workers are very kind and welcoming. I loved everything from this place. I'm sure I'll return. VEGAN

    Açai bowl! So good.

Excellent! Good-quality food, really chill atmosphere, friendly service. A little pricier than I'd like (what isn't?) but definitely worth it. Definitely coming back.

And above all, I love to rave about the most wonderful owner Tiago!! My husband and I moved from California to Valencia a few months ago. Walking by ALOHA (location 1 here. Now he opened location 2 next to Mercat Central), I stopped in and Tiago greeted me like a long lost friend. The most welcoming greeting that cemented my feelings that I had arrived "home"! Being a VEGAN place made his greeting GOLDEN! Now we are weekly customers for his "burgers", chips, nuggets, and the most yummy acai bowls. Oh and you must try the carrot cake. OMG, to have a vegan desert like this is heavenly! Both locations are run with perfection precision. And always with a smile. Great quality for a very fair price. I tried the Keiki Nuggets, which are like a chicken nuggets made of tofu, and they were divine! The best I ever had, and far better from real chicken nuggets which I used to have in my pre-Vegan days; They were crispy and freshly made, and were served with the sauce of your choice (I actually though they were great as they are, no sauce is needed). Must try if you are lucky to live in this city or visit there...

One of the great vegetarian restaurants of the world…read more Prices are not high. Two people had a meal to remember forever for 42 Euros. But this was Haute Vegetarian Cuisine suitable for Michelin stars. * * * The menus change frequently - and there is not a lot of choice on the menu. You get what the cook is cooking today and that's the beginning and the end of it. But the beginning and the end of it here - is the Alpha and Omega of great cooking. * * * So what did we have? 1) A cauliflower and carrot soup that will make you adore cauliflower. The cauliflower served to me as a child was unspeakably awful. It may not have counted as child abuse. It certainly counted as cauliflower abuse. At Les Maduixes, they serve the Cauliflower of Cauliflower dreams. Eat one bowl of Cauliflower Soup out of the Golden Cauliflower bowl And be guaranteed happiness and golden treasure forever. 2) A pique-boca of homemade hummus served in an endive leaf with two colors of sesame seed and an alt pesto. My mouth was piqued, oh yes, oh yes. I have no idea where they get their endive ... But that was the Cary Grant of endive. 3) Vegetable croquettes minimally sauced. Vegetable croquettes are usually heavy vegetable lumps in the hands of the wrong vegan cook. These were clouds of fluffy wonderfulness. 4) A veggie lasagna with soy yogurt as the "cheese" part of the filling. Yogurt totally totally belongs on lasagna. It makes it a light refreshing and lively dish. Why eat Grandma's lasagna bomb, and then be capable of doing nothing after lunch except watching football ... When you can have a sprightly lasagna with yogurt, And do handstands between the main course and dessert? 5) A quiche with soy mascarone. Mascarone makes everything wonderful - never mind the source of the milk. 6) A zero sweet chocolate pie. Time to renew your relationship with unsweetened baking chocolate. This was Heathcliff, the brooding lord of the haunted manor next door, sweeping you away to the moors in the rain for the lovemaking that only a dark poet can provide. There was a long time between every forkful. My eyes never opened. 7) A "carrot cake" that was made of carrot, just like the server said, but for all intents and purposes was a lemon creme cake. You have never had a lighter carrot cake in your life. 8) A vegan strawberry sorbet - but lots of people make vegan strawberry sorbets. A dish that happily brought us back to earth after we had spent lunchtime in our Magic Galleon Sailing the Seas of Dreams. * * * So how is Les Maduixes? It's okay. * * * So is Utopia.

Les Maduixes is a very cozy restaurant, with a nice ambiance. I thought the service was excellent. Regarding the food, for starters I had the Crema de boniato, zanahoria, which was quite nice. For the main I had wholemeal noodles with tomatoes, eggplant and goat cheese, and for desert the carrot cake. The noodle dish was good, but I guess I was expecting something I would classify as 'really good'. As my wife is a fan of vegetarian food, and because it is so close to our flat, I am sure we will give Les Maduixes another go in the near future. I hope to be more impressed on the next visit.

But also being somewhat upscale they were a little more formal than obviously a casual place. Once seated we were told we had 2 hours to finish our meal which is a very long time for just two Americans eating.
