The…read morelast two weeks have been unbelievably frustrating and the worst customer service I have experienced. Service people were unhelpful and not able to provide basic information on my vehicle and were not willing to look at my FORD vehicle. On July 3 my Ford Escape was towed to Alma Ford Lincoln as the transmission was not working properly and I had received a recall in connection to the transmission. As it was the holidays, they were closed. I called Wed July 5 when they were open and they told me that they would not be able to look at my vehicle until the following week. As I did not have an appointment that seemed reasonable. I waited till Friday July 14 to call at which time they reported that they had not looked at my vehicle. I asked for an estimate of when they would be able to look at my vehicle, they were not able to give me an estimate and that "were going to try and work it in, but I don't know when that will happen, I can't even make a guess." I asked if I could make an appointment, even if it was several weeks away, I was told that "that would just be an appointment to drop off the vehicle and it's already here." When asked why I couldn't get an answer to when my vehicle would be looked at I was told "well you didn't make an appointment and just had it dropped off here." So I again asked if I would make an appointment and essentially was told the same thing. I had my vehicle towed to a different local shop on Mon July 17.

To my surprise (cause dealers have a reputation for being overpriced and horrible to deal with), the service department has been nothing but amazing! - my car gets serviced and back to me in a day (depending on the issue) - when the same issue kept happening, they were equally as frustrated and worked with my crazy work schedule - they have been honest about costs and what to fix, when (for example, waiting a month between big-ticket items to help lessen the sting on my paycheck) I highly recommend them, wish I lived closer and/or other dealerships could take a lesson from their great customer service. Buyer Beware!!! Important lesson learned....always take the car to have it independently inspected…read more DO NOT trust their supposed 150+ point inspection. Unfortunately within 2 months of our purchase we are now faced with over $3k in repairs. Check engine light came on within first 3 days due to a faulty purge valve. Rear brakes were between 2-3mm (2mm is safety minimum). Front end struts are blown out. Improperly plugged tire. It took them a month and a half to get the car registered. I could go on for more repairs we haven't addressed yet (no spare tire, no jack stand, had to special order key to open sunroof, automatic sunroof doesn't work). Unfortunately we live out of state so I couldn't just return the car to them. Contacted the dealership as well and got no response. Thought this was a respected shop...apparently not.
