Just a quick update...I found out that the way she had done my lashes was damaging my own lash. She was supposed to "isolate" my lashes and keep the glue on the lash, but she was just slathering it all over, which ended up pulling out my lashes. A friend of mine had recommended Ally for eye lash extensions so I set an appointment with her. She's professional and super nice. She has her own little studio inside the Salon so if you make an appointment with her you can just go straight to the back. The best way to make an appointment with her is through text and she gets back to you same day. I told her I wanted my lashes long, full and natural, but not too fake and it came out exactly how I wanted it to be. I've been to her a few times already and I am not disappointed at all Compared to other places, the quality of her lashes are as good as it gets and if you take care of them (minimum eye make up or none, no mascara, no rubbing), they last about 2-3 weeks before you get them filled in again. Pricing is pretty average but again, you are paying for the quality of it and I think it's a reasonable price. My review is the same a Rachel's. It was so hard to make an appointment with her since she barely replied to me. I called the salon and they gave me her number since they don't deal with her clients called even left a message. Didn't get a text until 3 days later? When trying to make an appt with her she barely replied to my texts ! And beware since there are dangers to Getting lashes ! She DOES NOT clean her clients lashes and takes less than 30 mins TO DO THEM ! Worst lash experience ever. I usually go to lashes by Tiffany but she wasn't available in the time frame I needed. Ally finished my lashes so fast, didnt fam them out, didn't clean/prime my lashes, or apply anything afterwards as a sealant. Not to mention she was literally TUGGING at my lashes. I've gotten my lashes done for years and this has been the worst experience ever. Even a lash student would do a better job. She did a whole set in 35 minutes and they look like shit. They're crooked off the bat. Don't know how I'm going to manage to make them look neat at all. A waste of money. I've never left an appointment with my eyelids hurting before. She never responded for my fill. She left me hanging I even called and left voicemails to schedule an appointment. Worse customer service ever, I don't plan on returning. She takes 30-45 minutes on each lash session vs other places take about an hour-hour and half. Lash quality is good but I feel she didn't attach lashes to each lash. But I found that she takes only 30-45 mins when other places spend at least a full hour to 2 hours. The quality of her lashes and glue are good too. I can't tell you how glad I am that I found Ally. I have been to a handful of people and Ally hands down is my favorite and best. She knows her stuff and has been doing it for a long time. And it shows. She uses the best product and has a variety of lash lengths. In the past I've found it hard to find someone who listens to what you want. She does, I wanted to start off with shorter lashes and now I've got her doing longer ones. She has her own little spot which is decorated nicely and she has the softest bed to lay on while getting your lashes done! As a first timer for eyelash extensions, I was hoping it would be a great experience. I would have to say that I am very disappointed with the customer service I received. I am giving two stars only because I initially received good customer service from Ally the first time. She booked me in within 4 days, which was very accommodating. I thought she was sweet, cool, and easy to talk to. I was like "wow, this is so cool!" I loved my lashes, but they did not last very long, maybe not even 2 weeks. (And yes, I watched videos and read articles on how to care for the lashes). Since it was my first time and I did not know how long they would actually last, I didn't pre book my next appointment. She said it was okay and to just let her know in advance. Like I said, it didn't last very long at all. So why am I giving her this review? Well, i texted her and she offered me a Thursday so I said "sure, what times do you have?" and then I never got a text back to confirm. So I'm waiting, waiting, and waiting a few more days thinking she's probably very busy then finally after the 8th day without a reply, I texted again. She finally responds and offers me an appointment the next day and of course I say yes. I get a reply back and she stated she already booked it. I look at my time stamp on my phone and she had booked the appointment within 10 minutes from my reply back. Cmon she couldn't even give me that 10 minutes?? Is she expecting me to just stare at my phone all day while it takes her 8 days to reply back to me? It's surprising to me that she can book me within 4 days (probably because I am a new client), but can't book me any other days for just a fill, not a full. She even offered me a free fill, but I said she didn't have to and that if she could at least take a look at my real lashes to make sure they were okay (they were looking thin) and gave her my available dates but she never replied back, ever. Such bad service! Anyways, I don't want to deal with this back and forth texting. If you request to have people text you for appointments, then handle those texts and text your clients back in a timely manner! I'm glad she's not the only one that provides eyelash services. I am going to try la la lashes, at least they seem to have a better appointment system. read more
