Mimi was amazing! She is very talented and listens for exactly what you want. She took her time and didn't rush me or try to persuade me in anyway. I've been filling in my eyebrows with makeup for about 2 years now and before that I hated my eye brows but didn't know how to use makeup to change them. Putting my eyebrows on used to take the longest for me while getting ready. I also love water sports so I would put layers of hairspray over my eyebrows in hopes that they wouldn't wash off. I often smudged them if I had an itch. I'm also no artist so they were often uneven and way too thick. I had been thinking about microblading for a few months and was following several artist, watching their work from client to client, to pick the best one. Something I noticed with other artists was that they made everyone's eyebrows have the same exact shape.... that is a big no no. On alluring permanent makeup's Instagram, every client's eyebrow shape varied. I saw a few that were similar to the shape I wanted so I had the most faith in her! It took a bit of time to explain to her how I like my eyebrows to look as I had no photos clearly showing how I normally did my makeup, but Mimi was patient, and it didn't take too long for the drawing/mapping out process. The actual microblading/cutting didn't hurt as she did use a numbing cream first. Every once in awhile the blade would cut where the cream probably didn't reach and it felt as though I were getting a hair plucked. I'm pretty tolerant of pain but if you aren't simply ask her for more numbing cream. The bleeding completely stopped after about 2 days and the scabbing took about 7 days to heal for me but everyone is different. My body heals pretty slowly in all cases. After the scabbing healed, my eyebrows seemed to not look as good. There were some spots that looked empty and the color had faded a little bit. A few weeks later however, they look a lot better. I'm not sure why but this is a know process. You have to wait about a month to see the actual result then you go for the touch up if anything needs to be fixed. It's about time for my touch up and there's really only two things I'm going to have her fix. 1) My right eyebrow has always been more thin than the other and when I applied makeup to fill them in I always had to use a darker color on that eyebrow to makeup for the lack of hair. So I'll need her to either go over those spots with a darker color or maybe if she uses the same color over the same spot it will look better. 2) I normally draw my eyebrows in closer together. She was hesitant on going past my natural eyebrow line on the inside but it's been bothering me this whole time. I feel like my forehead looks bigger as well as my nose because I'm not used to seeing them this far apart. This is not a complaint, that's the reason everyone needs to get the touch up. After that they will last for about 2 years maybe longer or shorter depending on how my skin holds it. I am VERY HAPPY with this service and highly recommend to anyone. Mimi is great! read more

NOBODY deserves to have an uneven tattoo on the face. I found Mimi on Instagram and liked her work. I texted her and she called me the next day saying she will be coming to my place to do nanoblading. This was during COVID quarantine April. I still think I am fully responsible for what happened because I let her. The first thing she did was draw the eyebrow that she think goes with my face and automatically shaved off the hair. When i looked myself in the mirror I realized it wasn't my natural shape but she already shaved off half of my eyebrows. So she kept trying and got frustrated to the point that told me "you trace it and I'll do the nanoblading on it" I got scared because I'm not good drawing my eyebrows. That was the main reason I wanted to do nanoblading. I wanted a natural look just to follow my natural eyebrows shape and ask her if she could map the eyebrows first and then trace it (like I've seen it on Instagram) she said "no, you trace it first and then you map it to even then up" Short story I ended up crying for months and spending SO MUCH money on eyebrow removal. I have had 4 removals and still probably need 2 more. The lines on my face are so deep that usually takes 2 max 3 removal procedures but mines is gonna take 5-7. If you think to do microblading or any of those eyebrows tattoo I suggest you to do your research and to see if you can afford removals in case you don't like it. The trauma I went through it is horrible. My face looks completely different and every single day I regret it so much. The tattoo was above my natural eyebrow, against the natural hair direction, deep, and on top of that extremely uneven. Again; I still think it was my fault for letting her doing my eyebrows on the couch of my place while she was sitting on the floor on the side. I trusted her because she said she has done it before but if you ask any PMU they will tell you that is absolutely unacceptable because that is the first reason why they are so uneven (she just wanted to earn. The "nice" thing about it was that she refunded me 70% of what I paid after she made me sent her so many texts explaining that I was not going to sue her. THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. The psychological trauma, emotional trauma and physical trauma (skin damage) that I have been through it is unbelievable. Please do your research if you are going to do any type of tattoo in your beautiful face. You don't want just uneven trace lines on your face. I had my first appointment with Brenda last June 19, 2021 and I must say, at first, I am so scared to get my eyebrow done coz I know once it got messed up, then I'm going to have to live with it for at least a year. But then when I get there, Brenda was so nice. She worked with me until we get the right shape and color that we both think suits me. Then during the process, she always asks me if it is already starting to hurt so she can put some more numbing cream. I just had the worst experience. This was my first time with microblading and I am extremely unhappy with my eyebrows that Mimi did. I just got them done today and my family all noticed how uneven my eyebrows look. Mimi gave me an attitude when I asked her to make them more even. She said it was because of my bone structure on my eyebrows which was what was making my eyebrows look that way and she said that it's impossible to get my eyebrows to look even. First off, I'm here so you can fix the unevenness with a thorough mapping of my eyebrows and shape. She barely mapped out my eyebrows which is why the shape was uneven. One side is thicker than the other side and one side has a higher arch. I am really disappointed and I should've walked out when she started to give me an attitude when I asked her to please make one side thinner so as to match the other side. She told me if I wasn't happy with it that I should just go to another one. I should've walked out right then and there. Biggest regret! Never again with this girl.
