I'm very picky with my long hair, I only cut it about 1x every year and I only go to this location, probably my 4th time here. The issue I had today was that I had an appointment booked in advanced, I got there 5 min early and waited an extra 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Okay, no biggie i know work gets busy. But then after my service, I went to go pay and the lady at the front told me it's $75 FOR MY HAIR CUT ???? For split ends ???? I confirmed the price with them at least 3 times before zelleing them. I had such a difficult day today before my appointment , I was not not in the mood to argue about this and I know if I said something it was not going to come out the right way. Now thinking about it, I wish I spoke up and said something. Because almost $100 for a damn cut for my split ends is INSANE. I'm sorry, but I will NOT be coming back here.

Fast forward to today, I came in and got the warmest welcome from her. She proceeded to do my hair. I saw how hard she worked on my hair to get the perfect color. She checked the picture of the hair color that I wanted to make sure she got it right. Towards the end, she asked me if I already have a shampoo for my hair since I'm going blonde. I said no and she suggested the set that they are selling for, which I happily agreed to buy. She really made me feel special and pretty. My experience was amazing! Now about the place, it was big enough to accommodate people. It is clean, well-lit and organized. I am not sure if they have a restroom. I did not ask since this is post-lockdown. They have a parking in front and MAYBE in the back (not sure if it is theirs). OVERALL, I am very happy with the result of my hair. Not only was it beautiful but it was amazingly perfect and definitely exceeded my expectation. JAIME. IS. AWESOME!!! She is amazing, talented and a very kind person. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!

I went to this salon on January 21 around 6pm. I came in with very long hair and was very clear…read moreabout what I wanted. I wanted long face framing layers and curtain bangs, while keeping as much length as possible. Unfortunately, none of that was done. The stylist did not give me face framing layers or curtain bangs, and she cut off much more length than I was comfortable with, without checking in with me first. I noticed a lot of hair being cut but trusted the process and gave her the benefit of the doubt, which I now regret. She asked whether I wanted a round or V-shaped cut. I specifically said round, but my hair was cut into a V shape instead. At the end of the appointment, she asked if I wanted my hair styled for an additional $5, which I agreed to. However, once my hair was styled, I couldn't clearly see the issues with the cut. After washing and seeing my hair naturally, it became obvious that the cut was very chunky and uneven. I understand that cutting hair means losing some length, but this felt excessive and completely misaligned with what I requested. I'm especially upset because I really love my hair, and I left feeling unhappy and regretful instead of confident. No one should feel this way after going to the salon.

I had an appointment on Saturday morning, 11/23 with Stephanie at Rita's Hair Salon. I found…read moreStephanie's hair services on Instagram as I was looking for a blonding service special. I booked my appointment with her at least a month in advance and was extremely pleased with my experience. She listened to exactly what I wanted and told me what levels of blonde were achievable for my hair. She was easy to converse with and was extremely personable. I shared with Stephanie that other previous stylists have taken at least 8-12+ hours to work on my hair during previous appointments (Because previous stylists have worked on multiple clients at the same time as my appointment). Before my appointment, I did let her know how hard sitting for long hours is tough on my chronic back pain. Stephanie mentioned I would be in the chair for at least 6 hours, and as promised, I was in the chair for that long with no other clients being worked on during my appointment. It's important for me to not only have a stylist who can provide great service, but to also have a stylist whose primary focus is me (For example, I've had other stylists leave me in the chair for hours, not even checking on my foils). She was every bit of attentive and I appreciate this so much more than she knows. Stephanie shared that she typically only sees 1-3 clients each day as she wants to be attentive to each client she works on. I know I will be coming back again as it's important for me to feel prioritized during my appointment, instead of me sitting in the chair for hours. Book an appointment with her, you will truly enjoy her service.
