To start, Diana was very accommodating to my unique situation (long distance planning). I was able to book hair and make-up without a trial which is *not* always the case with other artists. We had a very in-depth planning process including a shared Pinterest board and a final inspiration collage. Furthermore, she was very accommodating to our last minute changes in regards to services for the VIPs and location for our services. The artists (Jacqui and AnnaLisa) were timely and very very patient with us. My mother-in-law spoke very little English and AnnaLisa was very patient being sure she was comfortable and understood. Also, they were very receptive to our different ideas and pictures and made us all feel relaxed, special, and gorgeous. My time with Jacqui was the most relaxed I was during my entire wedding day. Also, Jacqui engineered the most gorgeous hairstyle I have ever seen! I showed her one inspiration picture and she was able to create it with my own natural hair with no extensions! I purchased16",18" and 20" Brazilian Body Wave as suggested by Evis. I followed her expert advice because I am completely clueless when it comes to weave and all it's many types. The quality of the hair was beautiful in its raw state. It was soft and silky, it felt good when you ran your fingers through it. The next step was getting the hair colored to match the caramel colored single process base color I have in addition to the partial blonde highlights I have dispersed around the crown and face. Evis took special care to photograph my natural hair so she can get an idea of how to color it. So it was about a three day waiting period to wait for the color to be completed. When I returned to pick up my hair, I was excited and happy to see the result of Evis' work. I was sooooo unbelievably satisfied with how well the haircolor turned out. I knew that when I put it in, that it would definitely blend well with my real hair. I showed my friend the bride, my weave and she was pleased and decided to purchase her wedding hair from the VHB which is a super big deal. I was referred to this salon by an acquaintaince for marley twist. My hair is natural and is also short (about neck length). I texted the owner, Iris, to schedule an appointment via text. Her response was not timely! She eventually got back to me after 2 days and fave me her price, $160.00. I sent her a picture of my hair to determine if she could catch my hair. She said that she could and we scheduled and appointment! The day Of the appointment and everything went smoothly. Although it was somewhat alarming that her business was absolutely empty on a saturday afternoon, one if the busiest days in most well ran hair salons. I liked the braids once they were done. Hind sight is always 20/20 because one we were done Iris asked if my braids felt secure? Shouldnt they be secure its day 0 that they were installed? Fast forward to day 1, the following day, and at least 10 of my braids fell out! By day 4 all, and I mean all of my braids were out! I had to wear a wig to work!?! I contacted Iris and and told her my braids fell out and she asked me why?!?! She ten responded 3 days later that she wanted to do my hair over, just not braids because she felt my hair may have been too short! She didnt say thos when she received my pic prior to the appointment nor when i arrived! She braided my hair anyway! I took my $160.00 I came to Iris for braids, nothing else! I have my own stylist who does all of my styles, she, however does not braid! Iris offered to do a weave but stated that braids would slip out. She refused to give me my money back, said she would re-braid but i had to purchase the hair! This was over a month later as she is terrible with responding! She told me if i didnt want to purchase the hair that i could bring the hair that fell out, as if i saved it! She has terrible business practices and i plan to take her to small claims court as i feel she stole my money! No one gets their hair braided to have it come out in 4 days! Ahe does not know her own limitations and will take your money even if she can bot give you what you desire! I desired for someone to braid my hair and have it last longer than 4 days or have someone be honest and say that they didnt feel that they could conplete the style in a fashion that it would last! Beware!!!!!!

I also had a huge bridal party of seven that her and her assistant did effortlessly! Quelyn worked out the timing for each of us in the morning and brought all of her makeup and brushes to set up at my home. I happened to find my stylist's (Rasheeda) page on IG and hoped it would be worth the drive. Ladies, it was well worth it! The stylists were all very friendly, I actually enjoyed the hair wash (I NEVER enjoy getting my hair washed btw), and as a first Rasheeda actually seemed interested in not only getting my hair done but my overall hair care practices and health of my hair. She made sure to offer hair maintenance tips without having to be prompted and took her time to ensure my hair was impeccable. I wasn't looking for a new stylist per se, but I will definitely be back!
