My wife was quoted for a procedure for $350. Went in and got it done and they charged her $755. Called them and they said it was only a verbal quote and she already paid so that was already mutually agreed upon. I had my veins worked on over ten times this year and still haven't gotten much better. Way over priced. A friend of mine suggested that the problem I was having walking may be do to a vein problem (not a back problem). When I saw an opportunity for a free consultation - I decided to go. After the consultation, I did have the sonogram which indicated that I had a condition called Venous Insufficiency or poor circulation that was causing the pain in the legs. After 4 successful laser treatments and two sessions of some injections, I can now walk much longer distances with no discomfort in my legs. I would recommend them for these reasons. I would suggest that someone take the time to explain the procedures in more detail for a new patient. When I asked questions, they explained all the procedures to my complete satisfaction. Got obera spent over $7000 for procedure. Didn't change my eating habits one bit as advertised. I actually gained 3 pounds. Balloon removed one month later. Not one penny was reimbursed. I was told I signed papers that nothing could happen. Save your money do not do this procedure. Its a new procedure and hard to find any reviews out there. I have been going to Allure Medical Spa/Southgate, for about 6 months now. Been attending because of severe edema in my legs. Since my initial visit, I have been treated with the utmost care and respect that any person can want. The staff of Doctors and the various medical assistants, are all top-notch. Sure, not all of the procedures are a cake-walk. Sometimes, there is pain, but they do their very best, to keep you comfortable. And after all of the office visits, I see the rewards! I started going to allure in southgate for almost a year now. It started with my veins. at first I was for the most part I was happy. The last few vein treatments were very painful and I still don't have feeling in my lower leg. They said it's normal but it's been months now. then I saw them to treat my migraines. I was under the impression insurance would cover it according to them. Insurance denied it so allure "appealed it". So they said. It wasnt 2 weeks, then i get a letter saying i need to pay or its going to collections. I called insurance and find out an appeal was never filed so then I did it. So fast forward to the recent incidents. I end up getting under eye filler, botox and non surgical nose job. I instantly bruised and nose bled. I went in for a follow up to have my eyes checked and I was still really swollen I was also told if I need touch ups they will do it but I was still swollen so how do you know if I need them. I didn't think anything of it because again I was still swollen. I went in a week ago for botox for my migraines I was going to just have them put it in my bad trigger spots. I was quoted a while ago a price and I called before that appointment they tried changing the price on the spot I said no I just paid 4000 for my eyes and botox I just need to treat my trigger spots I was quoted a price the lady put me on hold and said they would validate it. I go in for my appointment after waiting a long time I finally get into the office and they said they won't treat me unless I pay the bill that the insurance didn't cover so I said I will since insurance denied it. I also ask about my eyes I asked it I was going to get a touch up. She said um that's why we have to come in a couple weeks after the appointment for a follow up to check I said I know that but u even said it I was here but I was still ,so swollen how are you going to really know. I told her my left eye looks horrible. She basically said there is nothing they can do. I was so mad I spent all that money to end up looking worse then when I came in. I get the botox done then go to pay and find out It was twice the price they quoted me. Bottom line they told me that they won't validate that quote I didn't sign anything (they never told me that) so their word means nothing. And they can change prices at anytime. I spent so much money and they made me feel so horrible and talked to me like I was stupid. Basically telling well you paid for it so oh well. I do not recommend them and I am so unhappy with the results of my eyes. I feel i looked better with my bags. It's really sad when you think people care when in fact they don't. This was WORST Dr. visit I have ever had. I did a search on my insurance website for a dermatologist. I found Dr. Kinsley near me. Made the appointment for August 2016. As soon as I pulled up and saw the location said Medical Spa my suspicions started. I was there for a MEDICAL REASON. The Dr. did look at one of the issues I was there for and stated it was nothing to be concerned with. The other 3 questions I asked (regarding moles) were answered by "your insurance doesn't over it"!! That's all! What I got out of the visit was if I didn't want some type of "enhancement" to my body she wasn't really interested in me as a patient. Fast forward to the very beginning of Dec 2016, I get a bill for the bal. of what my ins. did not pay - $17.16. On Dec 8th I received a letter in the mail from Allure Med Spa threatening "collection action". Just called...paid my bill..I am SO DONE with this fiasco.
