That's why it's so upsetting that, with the recent change in front desk staff and how policies are handled, we've decided we won't be returning. Most of the difficulty has been with the receptionist, Pamela. Whether on the phone or at checkout, she has come across as impatient, dismissive, and clearly bothered by basic questions. I've been met with sighs and an attitude that made me feel like helping a client was an inconvenience. Instead of leaving relaxed and appreciated, I left feeling unwelcome. I was also told my gift certificate had expired, despite never being informed of an expiration date or receiving any reminder. And while clients are charged for canceling within 24 hours, the spa has canceled within that same window themselves. The inconsistency feels unfair. I wanted to continue supporting this business, but the customer service experience made it clear our loyalty didn't matter.

My only regret is that it took me so long to find them. After having the WORST experiences with Ideal Image(pain, no results, SO expensive), I had a lot of fear and not a lot of trust issues. *Please don't ever go to Ideal Image unless you hate yourself, you're a glutton for pain, and like to waste money.* I had SO many trusted friends recommend ASC, so I decided to give them a try. Literally everyone. My first visit was for Botox (and maybe lips?) with Missy. It's hard to remember exactly where I started. Since then, I have had facials, laser treatments, Botox, lip fillers, under eye fillers, lash tints and lifts, and now laser hair removal. There is honestly nothing I wouldn't trust them to do. Every experience has been consistently amazing from the customer service, to keeping me comfortable, to amazing results. NOTHING has been painful. They have highly trained team members, advanced technology, and tools to make everything as painless as possible. I am always excited to try something new, but also value their honesty when they tell me I don't need a treatment. (I literally want to do everything I see them post about because their results are always amazing!) Their pretty view isn't too bad either. I am honestly excited for all future treatment because I know it is the best. (I have a long list) No matter where I live, I will find a way to continue to come to ASC. The first visit started out with some disappointment because I was informed that my condition was too bad for treatment at that time. But let me tell you. The kindness and help I received from Iolanda was amazing. She referred me to her very own dermatologist and spent time recommending specific OTC products. She wanted me to get things a bit more under control and then start out with a deep cleanse. So I took her recommendation and visited that dermatologist and the difference in my skin from then to now is remarkable. I went t back for the deep cleanse and Iolanda was shocked at the improvement. I had a wonderful facial that day and I'm ready to now get into the IPL treatments. However, the water temperature during the wash felt extremely hot, and the scalp scrubbing was very aggressive. Both of us left with tender, red scalps. Within about six hours, my partner developed painful blistering on the back of his head. We saw a doctor promptly; he was diagnosed with folliculitis and prescribed an antibiotic. It's been 2 days later and I still have tender scalp. I also want to note a hygiene concern: there is a shared blow-drying area with hair brushes available for anyone to use. We were not offered a disposable brush or a clearly single-use option, which made us uncomfortable from a cleanliness standpoint. We contacted the business to share what happened and request a resolution. We did not feel our concerns were addressed, and the compensation offered ($60) did not reflect the cost of the services (close to $400) plus a medical visit. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this location.
