I am extremely disappointed with how my policy was handled. I made my payment on time, yet my…read morepolicy was canceled for "non-payment." I provided my bank statement showing proof that the payment was made and even requested a three-way call with my bank to verify the transaction. Instead of properly resolving the issue, I received a reinstatement letter requiring six months of premium upfront. This feels unfair and punitive, especially considering that I fulfilled my payment responsibility. This situation caused unnecessary stress and disruption. I expected better communication, proper payment verification procedures, and fair treatment as a customer. I hope this company reviews how situations like this are handled so other customers do not experience the same issue. At this point, I am exploring my options moving forward. This experience has been stressful and disappointing. I expected better customer service and proper investigation before canceling a paid policy.

I picked him randomly back in 2014 because I had policies in another state with Farmers and wanted to get my multi-whatever discounts. For a few years, we had some back and forth and he was always responsive and helpful. Last week we bought a car and needed proof of insurance while still in the showroom on a Friday evening. I called but got voicemail so I wrote a quick email and contacted the main Farmers number instead. They hooked me up with another agent in my state who wasted over an hour of my time- first his computer was running slow, then there was some other glitch, yada yada yada. The owner, Sal Fede, and his partner, rented my son's home in North Caldwell with the understanding that when it was time for my son's family to move in, before my grandson needed to start kindergarten, they were to move out. When it was time for my grandson to begin kindergarten, and Sal Fede's lease was up, Fede refused to vacate the property, even when his lease had expired. My son was forced to proceed with legal action and only until it was time for eviction court did they move. The icing on the cake was that they asked my son to purchase the property, knowing that my son was desperately waiting for them to move so he could finally be a resident of North Caldwell to send his child to school. The heartache my son's family went through during July and August trying to find a place for HIS family to lay THEIR heads at night was absolutely indescribable.
